So, here are my slightly crappy attempts at artwork. Or, some of them, anyway. I'm not going to bother putting up really old ones, and I still need to find scan some, so, this'll do for now. Please don't take my drawings as your own, though, really, I don't see why you'd ever want to.
These are roughly in chronological order, with the ones at the top newer than the ones at the bottom. Click on the thumbnails to see the full images.
(my dolls are here)
What is it: It's inspired by this girl I saw on a professional ballroom dancing competition on pbs, but probably looks nothing like her because I was going off of memory, lol. Cool nonetheless, though.
How I drew it: Drawn in pencil, lined with a black gel pen, colored with prismacolors. Again. Exciting.
What is it: An elf dude from the Silmarillion.
How I drew it: Drawn in pencil, colored with (prismacolor, yay!) colored pencils.
What is it: The image for my entrance page thinger. Thought I'd post it here in case no one visits my entrance page.
How I drew it: Pencil sketch, traced over with the pen tool (the first one I've ever finished with the pen tool! I'm so proud.) in Photoshop. I kinda went crazy with the paintbrush tool in the background, but, I think it looks okay.
What is it: Well, it was sort of for this English assignment where we were supposed to draw a picture inspired by music (hence the filename), but, I never turned it in, so, yeah.
How I drew it: Cleaned-up pencil sketch, scanned to Photoshop 7, quickly colored and shaded (for the skirt thing, I just used the bevel/emboss thingy, because I was too lazy to do the folds individually).
What is it: A fairy/angel/person/thing, drawn out of boredom. I like the one foot, lol. Everything else is kind of sucky.
How I drew it: (Only slightly) cleaned-up pencil sketch, scanned to Photoshop 7, lazily colored (note the gradients and lack of any details on the wings), shaded mostly using the dodge and burn tools.
Sketches that don't get thumbnails:
fairy dress -- Based off of a dress that I tried on while looking for one for homecoming. It made me feel like a fairy when I wore it. ^_^
blah -- rough pencil lineart of a drawing I made on the way to Niagara Falls this summer. Once I color it all, I'll post the finished product.
