Mary's Strawberry Shortcake Room
All the pictures on this page are photographs of my Strawberry Shortcake room, unless otherwise stated.  If you would like to see any pictures of specific parts of the room or any displays in particular, just let me know and I'll be glad to show you!  (You won't have to beg ME to talk about my room, that's for sure!)
Mary in giant berry
When you first come through the curtains covering the door to my room, this is what you'll see!
Did you notice the green and white striped walls?  Those were painted by my friend Gail and me last summer when she came to visit.  We painted two walls pink, and the other two walls started with a base coat of white, then we measured out the green stripes.  Nothing says "Strawberry Shortcake" like green and white striped walls!
This next picture (see below)  is one of my favorite spots in the room.  I adore my collection of minis and deluxe minis!  I have every single version of the minis, and every single version of the deluxe minis, too!  I am only missing Peach Blush's trellis, but I am going to make a custom one.  (Let's face it: I'll never find a Peach Blush deluxe mini trellis at a flea market.)
That's me with Crepe and Gail with Lime.  Notice we are color coordinated to match our favorite dollies.  :)
Before I had my own Peach Blush deluxe, my friend let me play with hers.  Here are two pictures of me with her complete Peach Blush deluxe.  This first one is when I first saw it. . .
. . .and the next one is when I was actually posing with Peach.  She smells sooooo gooooood.. . .yumm yumm!
OK, enough hammin' for the camera for now.
On to the next corner of my room!
This corner is where my rag dolls, most of my plush pets, and my vanity and books are displayed.  Notice the custom rag doll of Crepe Suzette (my favorite) and custom plush pet of Eclair.  My pal Liana made the Crepe for me out of a Raspberry Tart rag doll, and Gail created Eclair from a Beanie Baby poodle!
Bulletin boards are a great way to display all the "paperwork" that you may want to show off!  I have my postcards, booklets, greeting cards, and even some jewelry on my bulletin boards.  I used a hot glue gun to attach Strawberry Shortcake Christmas ribbon around the wooden frame, and then made little white bows out of ribbon, and found some plastic strawberries to glue on as well.  Feel free to "steal" this idea for yourself!
OH NO!!! Attack of the giant Marty Party Iron!
Don't worry, Dancin' Strawberry Shortcake will
beat this iron down!
Back to our regularly scheduled room tour. . . . .
When rearranging this room to fit in more furniture (we all know you can never have too much Strawberry Shortcake furniture, right boys?  *see pic on right*), I realized I needed to create a middle aisle in my doll room.  The picture to the right shows just that!
ABOVE: Nate posing as Crepe Suzette, Ruben posing as Lime Chiffon.  Both are very afraid of Strawberry Shortcake, as you can tell by this photograph.
Only two more pictures to go!
I bet you thought this tour would never end, didn't you?
This is really my only piece of "nonStrawberry" furniture in the room.  I bought this shelf at WalMart, and it's really sturdy, which is why I trust it to hold my porcelain stuff, clocks, radios, music boxes, etc. (picture to the right)
YOU MADE IT!  You survived your first tour of Mary's Strawberry Shortcake room!  Now you can leave.  Exit through the door on the right please, and don't let the curtain hit you in the rear end on the way out.
Love,
Mary  :)

P.S.-- This is what you'll see as you leave the room.  Or as you just turn around and hang out for a while.  Either way, I hope you had a great time!
Please don't forget to sign my guestbook before you leave!  Let me know what you think of my site, my room, my psychological profile, whatever.  You are allowed to be honest only if you're very nice about it.
