| The color guard is an extension of the 250+ member University of Missouri Marching Band--"Marching Mizzou"--which performs for home football crowds of over 70,000 and in shows throughout the country. Tryouts for the guard are held in April or May of each year, with an additional camp held in July. The guard attends band camp one week prior to the beginning of classes and practices from 4-6pm Tuesday-Friday throughout the season. | ||||||||||||||||
