About Myself My name is Carol Kang and I graduated from UC Riverside with a B.A. in Economics-Administrative Studies. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and currently live in La Crescenta, California with my parents and two dogs. I am currently enrolled in California State University of Northridge for the ACT program. I am working on getting my teaching credential so that I can become an elementary school teacher. I never thought that I would be in the position that I am in today but not too long ago, I decided that I wanted to become an educator. The satisfaction of seeing children's eyes light up when they come to knowledge or understanding is very rewarding. I experienced this as a tutor and as a Sunday school Bible Study teacher over the past year. And here I am today, taking classes and experiencing the life as a student teacher. I am learning a lot everyday as I enter my master teacher's first grade classroom. I'm glad that I get to experience this experience so that I am prepared when I become a teacher of my own classroom. |

EED 515 This website that I have created is for the class that I'm taking for the ACT program. The purpose of this class is to teach us basic technology methods that we will be needing to use when we are managing our classroom. We will use these skills to deliver instruction to our students, keep track of grades, create important documents, and be able to use various software programs. |

Teaching Philosophy Teachers can build a better future by touching the lives of so many children. Our job is to motivate the children to become life long learners. Learning should be fun, challenging, and rewarding for everyone. And most of all, we need to believe in all the children by placing high expectations on every single child because they are all capable of learning, understanding, and solving problems. High expectations will produce high outcome.
