The sociability offered by Everquest has allowed players themselves to take advantage of concepts offered by in game mechanics such as simple grouping and expand them to become more formal by creating orginazations. Through casual and formal grouping, players form friendships with each other. These friendships often carry over outside of the virtual world when players wish to meet with each other. |
