Story:
He is a wandering Dark Knight who has gained a storied reputation for not following the rules and guidelines of his destructive and blood thirsty class. Despite the incredible killing power that rests within his soul, he was taught never to use it unless he had absolutely no choice. His instructor, Snow Lockheart, taught him that.
Upon freeing his current lover, Chinn, from the life style of being used and abused by everyone around her, the two travel together seeking new adventures and helping others in need. Unfortunately, since Michael's name is so well known throughout the lands, many bounty hunters crossed paths with him. They met their ends by the blade of Michael's sword, but Michael felt remorse after killing them so viciously. Chinn learned of a place they could live in peace. It was known as Naia.
The two travelled to the place known as Naia and were greeted with open arms by many. It truly was a peaceful community and only because of the Guardian of Naia watched over them. Who was that guardian? It was none other than Michael's instructor, Snow Lockheart! She watched over Naia with her skills and remained an unbeaten warrior as she always has been. Little did anyone suspect what would happen next...
On one of the missions to protect the people of Naia, Snow left to put down a rising threat in Naia. It was said to have been a pirate and he was killing many of the people in the area he landed. It was a fierce battle and Michael had been away during this time. When he returned, however, he received news that Snow had died and it was the legendary Furre Edge that killed her.
Michael, enraged by this, embarked on a solo mission to find the killer of his master and repay the favor...

Michael is standing in front of the Furre Edge which has shifted from the two swords Jokervantes used against him in their final battle into a zweihander sword. "You're the legendary Furre Edge, huh?" Michael says very calmly. He reaches behind his back and draws his sword as he slowly approaches the weapon. "You killed a lot of people. I think it's time you met your end!"
Good Ending:
Michael lunges forward and penetrates his sword's blade into center of the blade where its eye rests. A demonic scream echoes across the area as soul energy starts erupting like a gyser. The souls of warriors who had died from fighting the weapon are freed and allowed to enter the afterlife. As Michael watches the countless lives lost for generations, a distinct looking soul approaches him. It's Snow. "Master Snow?" "Michael. You have ended a terror the world has known since the dawn of time. Your heroics will never be forgotten... you have freed us from the prison of Soul Edge and are eternally grateful. I promise we will see each other again someday. Always be brave... for you are the master now." As Snow's soul vanishes into the pillar of light, Chinn rushes over to Michael and embraces him. "Is it... is it over, Michael?" Michael then glances over to Chinn with a smile as he gazes into her eyes. "Yes, Chinn. It's over. We can live in peace." The scene fades to black as Michael and Chinn kiss.
Bad Ending:
As Michael is ready to lunge his blade into Furre Edge, a voice calls out to him. "M-Michael..." Michael stops his advance and glances at the sword that had spoke to him. As Michael listens closely, the voice was that of his slain instructor, Snow. "Michael... my dear apprentice... help me..." Michael then kneels beside the sword as he gazes upon it. "M... Master Snow! Is that you?!" "Yes, my student. It is I. When Jokervantes killed me, he locked my soul deep inside this sword. If you use the sword's power, you can resurrect me." "But... how?" "Just grasp unto the handle and you will soon know. This is the legendary Furre Edge... the ultimate sword... you will know your path once you take it into your hand." Michael then stands up, looking unsure of what to do. Taking a deep breath, he gives a nod as he grasps unto the sword. Upon doing this, however, a shot of energy fills his body and causes an omnious glow around him. He soon starts yelling in pain as he feels his left arm slowly change into a demonic form. He rips the sword out of the ground as azure armor covers him from head to toe. "I... I am no longer... Michael..." The altered voice of what was once Michael spoke out. "I am what should he be... I am... Nightmare Michael!!" The scene then cuts to Chinn deep in a forest. She clasps onto her chest and gazes up to the sky. "Michael... something happened to you..." The scene fades as Chinn is seen running towards the area Jokervantes and Michael fought.
