Do you get critized a lot on Michael's behalf?
Well, that is quite obvious. People will always want to throw in their own two cents on things and decide since they are completely pathetic that they need someone cooler, more successful and an easy target to vent their frustrations on. There are a couple (not a lot) of people I know that believe my star character of eight years is overpowered and unoriginal. By all means, that is all their opinion. But allow me a chance to defend Michael, hm?
Overpowered? The hell you talkin' about?
Michael, of course, like any other character, started out a bit weak. He never had a high combat rating because I did not know much about RP combat myself. This is so true. You could ask Lovely Makoto on AIM because she has known Michael for quite a long time. She knows a lot about that because I had grown a lot around her and her style. Now granted, Michael is eight years old in RP years. That's right. EIGHT YEARS OLD. That is pretty OLD by RP standards. Other than Shadow MH and Blade, he is my oldest character. And because of that, he has had many shares of fights as well as people who taught him their style. Eventually, he was able to emulate fighting styles with his wrist band computer used as an integrated weapon system, which allowed him to use attacks such as 'Shabon Spray' and 'Supreme Thunder.' And he's not invurnable. He gets a good beating here and there. So he may seem overpowered to some people for a number of reasons: Your character sucks and can't fight worth a damn against him; Your character is fairly new and can't take a good fight because of inexperience; You simply don't try and instead bitch at me because you can't accept that all of your characters suck, which is your own personal problem and blame should not be placed on me but your own inability to accept that you suck. And you know, I am quite fair. People who know me well know that. I ask, "Why do you feel that way? Give me valid reasons or reasons to improve." But weakening Michael isn't one of them. Hell, I have taught people some pretty nifty fighting styles and improved their game a lot. I am very good at teaching someone how to be good at something, so if you can't beat Michael, train under him. Michael has taught many people and brought them to levels they did not know they could achieve. Granted, yes, this has happened to me in the past. That is why I study and learn under the style of the one who beat me. That's how Michael had grown a lot. That and always being on his toes because Dark Razor would come and fight with him a lot when he did not expect it. Simple as that.
Dr. Pepper is the taste of originality and Michael isn't? What the hell is that?!
Eight years ago, the time was different. People were younger and accepted ideas and borrowed storyline ideas from other animes, video games, etc. An ORIGINAL idea was never even heard of eight years ago when I started. So where does that leave me? Not in very good shape, quite frankly. Over the years, the ideas became more sophicated and unoriginality seemed 'unpopular' to a few ass clowns here and there. So who better to target than Sailor Mercury's brother, Michael Mizuno X, who was created eight years ago? Easy for idiots to pick off. Yes, Michael started in the Sailor Moon series. He was Sailor Mercury's brother. An idea that many have used unsuccessfully. So bloody what? The time and age, it was completely acceptable. And then the question, "Why not change him to be more original" or "Why keep those backgrounds? Just drop them" if I did that, I would betray my own character's history. I never drop anything from his past. I always add it. Such as when I added Michael's Cetra bloodline as well as his origins. I thank my wonderful friend Nikki for helping me develop Michael so well. And yes, I brought up these same questions up to Nikki and she helped me defend Michael. I mean, originality is fine and all, but it gets so boring. And many things that used to be original, like for instance, a blue haired knight who used a sword and was a prince, became main targets. Fire Emblem did that with Marth. That picture of Michael in my head was always there when I was little. I just never had it fully developed until the Sailor Moon series hit full market and Michael's actual outfit never fully came together until after Fire Emblem came out. So despite how original you can be, it won't be so original when the idea is thought of by someone else and then put into high market. So when you use the idea later on, people will accuse you of being unoriginal. Sucks, doesn't it? But I have no shame! So what if Michael isn't 'original'? I build better on other people's ideas anyway. The ideas are so broad that it makes fanfiction run high as well! So what is wrong with Michael being fanfiction worthy? Not a damn thing if you ask me. No matter how original your idea maybe, someday, it won't be so original and you will be accused by low life people who have nothing better to do than to bitch at every thing you do because they aren't original themselves. Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? Good job, idiot. You really make yourself sound smart.
Well, since I KNOW I will get more complaints about Michael, this section will constantly be updated. And by all means, come back and visit. Because more complaints I get, the more I can tear them down and make them look like the idiots they really are. Now, if I actually get a complaint about him that is actually VALID (I don't like him because he looks stupid isn't a valid complaint and in turn I will make fun of you in this section), I'll be sure to put it up and who said it. Who knows... maybe the little shit who had no reasons behind her complaints might ACTUALLY put something up. Heh. Yeah right. She couldn't explain herself to save her stupid life...
