Whispers in the Darkness

Whispers in the darkness,
Tear drops in the rain,
Eyes wide shut,
Smiles amongst the pain.
This reality is full of such things,
Which are avoided.
Everyday samething outside.
Six rings on each finger,
Baggy clothes.
Smile molded on my face,
Tear drop scoulded on my soul.
This is our reality,
This is our grave.
Yet in the lands outside of the norm,
The people can be free.
Laughter echos through out the corridors,
Of this unreality
Small misty lands.
Foriegn to the normal,
Home to the strange.
Fairies dance amongst the darkest corners,
Bringing life.
Love.
Shadows explode.
Colors collide.
The earth sings with your joy,
And weeps with your sorrow.
You know true love.
But soon that reality comes,
Screaming back to you.
Not waiting for you to wake up.
Grabbing you.
Pulling you.
Robbing you of this love.
To return to pain.
Sorrow.
Fear.
Confusion.
With out reason.
Could that reality,
Truely be our nightmare?
A terrible punishment,
From some unknown source?
Our reality only lasts so long.
Our true reality.
And it comes in secret.
Whispers in the darkness.
Tear drops in the rain.
Eyes wide shut.
Smiles amongst the pain.
Things ignored or feared.
some may chose to stay,
In the unreality with pain,
Soon to end.
Pointless anguish.
With other mindless drones.
Which is fine.
For them.
I chose to sleep.
To escape to my home.
Where life prospers.
Though, still, we are mocked.
Tormented more.
Yet,
I add we are only mocked in this nightmare,
Called reality.
So,
I listen for the whispers in the darkness.
I wait for the tear drops in the rain.
I search for all the eyes wide shut.
I follow every smile amongst all the pain.
So I can find it.
My reality
