Hello~is anybody here? Poor mizuki still struggle to continue raison de’tre~my poor English..*cry for my new eng teacher*T0T Someone tell me it’s too weird for Die to remember everything all the sudden. Gomen…I forget to mention that Die find his missing memory again becoz of Devil Kyo’s magic!

Part 5

The next morning…

~Baka Tochi! Baka Shinya! Where the hell are you now!?><!!!

The Devil Kyo scolded his servants while he was flying in the sky with handed his terry bear in his right hand just as usual, but there was one very important thing that unusual for the Devil…now it’s just 7:00 am in the early down! In addition, as usual, it was still the bedtime for him!

In fact, having been leave alone slept in the top of the mountain last night, the Devil’d planed to sleep sleep sleep and sleep all day long when he sunk himself in to his deep sweet sleep. Unfortunately, an overwhelming hunger ’d woken him very early in this morning, after rolled around, trying to went back to sleep unsuccessfully for a several time, Kyo finally gave up and woke, He could sleep no more because his stomach was so empty, then he wondered why he’d been so hungry.  He remembered one thing annoyingly: Toshiya forgot to feed him last night! Stupid Tochi!><

So the Devil had to feed himself without any help this morning, and after finished off his breakfast (~sorry, not sure which’s Kyo’s fav food!), he felt a bit boring, Without Toshiya or Shinya, the Devil having no one else to make fun with. Now the bored little Devil was dying to find something fun to do. Wait a minutes…perhaps there were something useful in his pocket…let’s try…

Later, he found a piece of paper within his pocket, he readied the paper lazily, “Hummm…let’s see…”Coincidently, it was the contract between Kaoru and Toshiya, according to their contract, if once Kaoru’s wish was completed, Toshiya could take [the most important thing] away from him forever…humm…after finished reading it Kyo yelled.

“Wah~that one’s EASY! Even ME can handle it well!”

That was exactly what he need! some interesting thing! After all Devil Kyo found something to do. He rose onto the mid-air and flied away, ready to *help* Toshiya to complete his contract.

A while latter in Die & Kaoru’s, place…

The sun was rising slowly, another brand new day was going to begin. A soft ray of sunlight had also waked Die from his dream; He heard some birds singing though the window glass.

Die murmured lazily a little but then he realized his lover was still asleep while he laid his eyes on Kaoru who laying next to him. He understand the younger one must be very tired after such a wild night they shared together (and again, please imagine how wild they got by yourself.^.^ |||) He recalled what he had done with his younger brother last night, it’s totally against all kind of morality, but he couldn’t think it’s wrong doing. He didn’t regret to confess his truly feeling to Kaoru, he confessed it so honestly as if some invisible force had leaded him to do it, strange.

Die left the bed and dressed himself up, his ever movement were so lightly and soundlessly, carefully try not to wake Kaoru.

 He looked down to the window and noted a plenty of red roses bloomed in the garden. They were so lovely. Now all Die willing to do was took those flowers to Kaoru. How beautiful it was! Kaoru must love it.

And then he walked out of the room and went downstairs, made his way to the garden, leaned down and plucked the most beautiful and rosier one. But before he ever turned back. A noise cry struck him rapidly.

Die looked up to the sky and he saw…

 “Hooo…there you are!!!!” Kyo who was in his terry bear pajamas, hugged his terry bear in his arm, smirked wickedly to Die, flied high above the sky.

 Kaoru woke shortly after Die left the room, but he still wasn’t very awake straight away…“Die…”he groaning lightly, rolled over to the other side of the bed and reach out his arm to search Die, but he end up encountering into the empty air.

~Die?

Then Kaoru shut his eyes open, looking around the room, Die wasn’t there. He found himself being leave in the room alone, not a soul around. He began to worry. Where was Die? Kaoru still vividly remembered Die held him in his arms and leaned against him…so tightly and warm…but where’s he now?

At the same time, his right hand felt like burring. It hurt so much it cause his body aching in pain immediately. He felt something….something was coming on it way!

Kaoru felt the same evil atmosphere he’d felt last night…the same evil atmosphere around the tiny Devil! Why he could feel it so close to here? It couldn’t be…and yet it was coming! Faster and faster, it went toward him! Kaoru could tell it all! Something evil was on it way!

Something must be wrong! Consequently, he hurried to dress himself up and ran downstairs.

In the garden…

Kaoru hurried to the garden and just before he reached to the doorframe, he saw the little Devil he’d just met in the early last night. In addition, when he saw the Devil dashing himself to Die, suddenly Kaoru knew what was going to happen instantly. It cause the purple head felt his chest constrict immediately.

He had completed a contract with Devil, so now it was time to pay off.

“NO!!!!” Kaoru cried but it was already too late.

Die heard Kaoru cried to him, the purple head’s voice quaver helplessly and fell with so much horror. He turned to Kaoru’s side, at the same time, the Devil’s hand cut right into Die’s chest as if a knife cutting though a soft warm butter, but not a drop of blood went out, then he pulled his hand out again with a small glittering object in his hand, the entire incident happened within a second.

 Kaoru know Devil Kyo’d just pulled Die’s soul off him, and the tiny object was his soul! He himself had just witnessed Kyo pulled Die’s soul out of his body!

Kaoru stand where he was, frozen and almost lost his conscious. Fuzzily a voice within himself told him…

~If one’s soul left one’s body, that person could only be…. dead.

Die didn’t know what’s that all about, he only saw the stranger short guy crash in front him and pulled something off him, he felt so strange though it was no pain at all. His body was so heavy, he fall and hit the ground helplessly. He felt like sinking in to a bottomless deep, sinking, sinking and sinking, endlessly. He closed his eyes eventually.

Kaoru rushed in to Die’s side, Held the older man in his arm, called his name trying to wake him again, but it didn’t work, of course.” You can’t- you can’t do it!” Kaoru cried to the Devil.

“Why I can’t?” Devil Kyo raise his eyelids, with a wicked look in his cutely face. “Don’t tell me you forgot that you had a contract with us! What wrong for me to take the reward that I should have?”

“The price is…Die’s soul…?” confusedly Kaoru asked the Devil.

“Yes, according to your contract, it’s the price. ” Kyo blinked, he went on.” You still don’t realize it, Don’t you? This man is the most important thing to you ne!”

“So I’d got the reward as our contract, the contract’s completed! see you!” the Devil chunked before he flied high up into the sky with Die’s soul in his hand. Leaving Kaoru and Die’s lifeless body behind.

“Hello~~”

No answer.

“Hello? Is that anybody home?” Hide, the school principal in that neighborhood stand outside of the two brother’s house, He was worrying about Kaoru so he came on over there in this morning, wanted to check if the brothers were okay or not. Then after he found the front door was widely open, his suspicious increased.

“Huh…nobody’s home? How come?”

Then Hide went inside the house, looking inside, the rooms were dark, he walked though room after room, and no body was there.

He went on and on toward a room at the end of the passage, it was the inner most room in the first floor.

“…Hello?” He asked again before opened the door, again no reply, only the silence air quivering slightly around him.

After he got used to the darkness within the room, finally he saw a familiar figure was sitting on the floor, Hide couldn’t help exclaimed when he recognized the figure as the purple head. ”Kaoru-san!? Where the hell had you been yesterday!!? We almost call the police! Don’t you know how much we worried about yo-”

His voice vanished suddenly as he went closer.

There Kaoru were, with his eyes ghastly wild open, holding his brother, Die, who had his eyes close and laid unconscious tightly(I guess Kaoru’d removed Die somewhat~-_-). Kaoru was so still and lifeless as if a state, his eyes weren’t focus at all and they were so empty that they made Hide couldn’t help himself shivering all over.

However, Hide realized he had some more serious thing he ought to worry about Die who seemed to be even in a worse condition than Kaoru.

“Kaoru!” Hide shook Kaoru’s shoulders, who didn’t seemed to hear him at all violently, he went on. “Just tell me what happened!? Die…isn’t he-he DEAD!!!???”

No answer from the purple head at all, so Hide had no choice but turning to Die’s side. Fortunately, he checked and found the red head was still breathing! Nevertheless, his heartbeat went slower and slower…the older man knew the fact right away: the red head was dying!

On the other hand, Kaoru couldn’t hear a single word from Hide, he could only hear a familiar voice spoke to him anxiously and urgently. Still a few words entered to his brain…Die…is dead.

Dead.

The word “Dead” echoed within his ears, again and again and again…followed by the rerunning of the whole incident. Right in front his eyes…and all the sorrow overwhelming him entirely. Let he broke into a slapping cry.

“Noooooooo!!!!!”

Hide thought it must be the most miserable cry, which he had ever heard in his whole life.

A little while later, after Kyo returned to his home….

“Lalala~” Devil Kyo floating and playfully thrown Die’s soul into the mid-air again and again. “How funny~lalala~~” It was such a fine toy to make fun with!

While kyo was so busy to play, the front door was opened, and Toshiya stepped into Kyo’s place at that moment, with a big shopping bag filled with a lot of food.

“Hey~Master, I’d brought your food for you ne!” But then his smiled vanished.

“What the hell is THAT!?!?” Toshiya exclaimed and pointed to Kyo’ hand when he saw the glittering ball that the Devil was handing. “Don’t tell me it’s the price!” Isn’t it Kaoru’s brother…Die’s soul? It wasn’t supposed to be here!

“Toshiya! I’d just helped you to bring your price back!” Kyo turned to Toshiya and grinned at him proudly.

“It’s…[the most important thing to Kaoru]…?” Toshiya asked uncertainty, he could hardly believe his eyes. That’s…impossible!

“Yes.” Kyo answered calmly.

Now Toshiya realized he’d made a big mistake. He thought the thing that meant most significant to Kaoru must be his own life. In addition, as centrally speaking, there’s nothing more significant and vital than one’s own life. Toshiya thought he’d made a best deal with Kaoru that he could take the best reward-Kaoru’s soul, which supposed to be the most important thing of him, away.

Nevertheless, completely out of Toshiya’s expectation, now the fact turned out to be like this: instead of his own life, [The most important thing of Kaoru] was Die! Is that mean in Kaoru’s heart, Die means even more important than his own life? Impossible! So, what can he do now? Toshiya closed his eyes, thought his entire situation all over carefully, but the more he thought, the more bitterness he tasted.

Still, Toshiya couldn’t be upset for very long, he forced himself to claim, and thought how to prepay for his next step.

Osop! The whole incident don’t make sense at all! Sorry for my poor ability of descried an incident1 ><

I find that the stuffs I ‘m writing is totally far away from what Shizu have in mind! Shizu’ll write raison de’tre down in Chinese, So don’t be suspires if u find out the story I’m writing is very different from hers! Forgive me Shizu chan! I admitted I’m rushing your idea!
