Part 4
~Shit! It must be the strangest
day I’ve ever have!~ Die thought to himself while making his way to return
home, and it was already after mid night.
As the matter of fact, Die had a pretty strange day today.
Later in that morning, Die tried
to find his brother, but Kaoru was missing after he stormed out of their place.
Where have he been? However, he didn’t have time to figure it all out. Because
at noon, he had been tell that Kei was missing, too. (Tochi kidnapped her before
he went up to the mountain to meet Kaoru, so he can make sure that Kei won’t
give in Kaoru’s way^^) What’s the matter with them? Die really didn’t give
a hint!
During the whole day, Die was
running out of way to find both Kei and Kaoru, but end up finding nothing at
all. It seemed that the two had just simply vanished in the mid-air.
Until now he still can’t help
but wondered Kaoru’s strange and overexciting reaction in the morning. His
heart tugged while he thinking of his beloved younger brother. In addition, an
indescribable empty feeling stroked him. The same emptiness always strikes him
when…when what? Oh yes, he could feel the same emptiness every time Kaoru
vanished out of his view. To Die surprise, he found himself worrying about his
younger brother so badly…worse than he worrying about his girlfriend.
Now he came back, entered to the
house, and saw Kaoru lay on the floor, unconscious, almost no sense of life
could be fond upon his ghastly pale face.
“Hey! Kaoru wake up!” He
hurried to his brother side and enfolded him.While he was trying to wake Kaoru.
Something even stranger happened, even Die himself couldn’t understand why,
but incredibly a lot of images flashed back to him again, those images and
pieces of memories about his missing past. Slowly but unmistakably those
memories went all the way back into his mind, like a whole box of puzzles
finally went back to their place, and they had never been so vivid before.

Kaoru heard a familiar voice was
calling to him, and a pair of strong arms wrapped around him. He opened his
eyes, and saw Die, embraced
the purple haired in his arms tightly, a worried look on his face. Where was he
now? What time’s it? Kaoru couldn’t tell. All he knew was that amazingly; he
was in their house again.
“Hey. Brother.” Kaoru said
calmly(he still half awake…O.O;;;).
“What’re you talking about?
O_O;;; You’ve gone all day and no where to be seen in the town, when I
returned home, you’re there, laying on the floor. What happened to you
today?”
~What happened to me today?~ Kaoru
questioned himself, then all the strange incidents he had had today slipped into
his mind. He himself could hardly believe what he had today…Did he really go
out to visit the Witch in his cave? Did he really see the SD size Devil in the
moonlight? Those memories seemed so surreal, impossible to be true, but it was
also too vivid to be a dream. Kaoru looked at his right hand, the mark was still
there, reminded him that everything, which had just happened were true.
“What’s that?” Die narrowed
his eyes when he saw a strange-looking’s mark upon Kaoru’s right head.
“Nothing.” Kaoru murmured and
hid his right hand from Die. Also he finally noticed their embarrass position,
so he hurried to rise himself with his feet.
Afterward Kaoru looked up and
found Die gazing at him in the way he had never done before, causing his heart
beat faster.
~Why he stared at me as if he had never seen me in his whole
life? Why?~ A large [?] floated upon Kaoru’s mind. The sight of Die made him
became more and more uneasy to stand. So he began to walked out and said.” I
think I should leave now.”
“Don’t go. I have something
important to say.”
“About what?” Kaoru froze,
then turned himself to Die again.
“About us.”
“Okay. Go ahead, please.”
Kaoru replied, and held his breath waited for Die to begin his talk.
“I remember everything in the
past.”
“Re…Really?” Kaoru’s eyes
widened with joy and surprise.
“Yes.” Die nodded.”
Strangely enough, the most vivid memory is our childhood. I remember it again. I
recalled how the two of us once used to be together, and how happy we used to
be. Do you still remember?”
“Of course I do.” Kaoru lowed
his eyebrows, he did remember they childhood well. Those were the days fell with
joy and happiness.
“I’m glad that you still
remember.” Die grinned. ”But something changed, something changed within a
second. I remember it happened shortly after we went into high school. All the
sudden you became unwilling to come to me, every time I try to invite you join
the company, you always said ‘No.’ and said you want to be alone. You became
so cold that you finally made me believe you hate me.”
“That’s not true!!!”What the
Hell can that baka thought I hate him?
“ Still you was with me but I
don’t know you anymore…why?” Die looked up into Kaoru’s eyes and went
on. “Why you kept so distance to me all these time? Did I do something that
upset you?”
“You hadn’t.” Kaoru sighed
slightly, You’re wrong, Brother, no matter what happened, it wasn’t your
fault.
“So what wrong with you? Why you
don’t just tell me the reason? I’m your brother! ”
“…”Kaoru didn’t said
anything in reply. Although the answer had already in his mind, but he
couldn’t speak it out. He just simply couldn’t, no matter how hard he try.
Finally, he only could say. “I’m leaving.”
However, before the younger man
could make his way out. Die took him by his wrist unexpectedly, so tight it
causing Kaoru to cried in pain. “Hey! Let go! I said I’m leaving!”
“Listen to me. Please stay, will
you?”
“…”The purple haired gazed
at the older man in surprised, Die had never been that serious before. He
realized it must be something serious. So he stopped and turned to face his
brother, then Die let go of his wrist.
“I-ehh-I myself wasn’t sure
how to put it right, but I think I should try my best to explain it to you.
It’s something I had never tell anyone this before,”
Kaoru kept staring at Die,
didn’t said anything. A strange silence fell totally upon them before Die
spoke again.
“ Sometime I’d have
nightmare…a nightmare about I was in the middle of no where, tried to find
someone, but I didn’t know who that person are, but I know that person was
needing me, calling out to me somewhere. So I reached out my arms as far as I
could but I touch nothing in the middle of darkness, I tried so hard but still I
found nothing, it really drive me crazy.” Kaoru noticed the pain expression
within his brother’s eyes; it was painful for Kaoru to see his beloved Brother
upset, as if Die’s sorrow could also eat into himself.
“It’s such a strange dream
but…God! I’m so stupid…why I hadn’t never realized it…until
now…”Die reached out his fingers to caress Kaoru’s face, and Kaoru
didn’t resist him~…don’t stop, please…it feel so good…~ it’s all
Kaoru had in mind. Fuzzily he heard Die went on.” It really took me long time
to work it out. I remember now…the one I’m looking for is you.”
The red haired took a deep breath
before he continued. “I love you. Kaoru”
He said that…eventually he said
that…could it be real? The purple head was no longer sure himself was sober or
not. He felt helplessly lost. Until Die’s voice pulled him back to reality
again.
“Ehh! I don’t mean as a
brother, I mean-” Die added one more sentence
and blushed after a long, long moment of
embarrass silence.
“It’s okay! I understand!”
Kaoru replied quietly, he went redden, too.
“But what about Kei? I’m sure you don’t want to hurt
her.” Kaoru asked bitterly.
“Of course I don’t want to
hurt her. She’s a nice girl, and both of us know each other quite well, you
can said we’re happy to be together. However, I’ve realized it doesn’t
work. Something’s missing. Something’s lacking in me. It’s a terrible
hunger that neither Kei nor another girls can fill, there’s only one who can
fill it. You.” Unsure what the
purple head might reply, he looked up to Kaoru again nervously.
Slightly Kaoru sighed, and wrapped both his arms around the red
haired, then buried his face into Die chests.” I love you, too. Brother.
You’re the only one I’ve ever loved. I’ve loved you since…I forget when
it started. I don’t think you really understood how very much I love you. But
I feared that I might scare you away from me if you figure out my true feeling.
No, I knew I *must* scare you away. That’s why I didn’t dare to come near
you. If I did try once. I knew for sure I wouldn’t stand it anymore. ”
Kaoru could felt warm tear drops running down his cheeks. ”I had been waiting
for heard it for so long. It hurts a lot.”
“Don’t cry Kaoru…It’s all my fault.”
It’s hurt to see Kaoru crying.
Die gently wiped the purple head’s tear away. He cured himself. Why he had
been so blind to see how much Kaoru’ve suffered though out so many years?
“It’s all my fault.”
“Brother…”
“Don’t call me brother any
more. Call me Die from now on, please.”
“Okay, Die.” Kaoru smiled
slightly, again tears fell within his eyes, but that time they were tears for
joy. Maybe all he will die in tomorrow or lost his soul…but it really didn’t
matter…at least at that moment, Die *did* love him, so what else could he ask?
Die embraced the younger old ever tightly, and tenderly kissed
along Kaoru’s cheeks to dry the younger man’s tears, then their lips met and
locked into a passion kiss before they collapsed down to the bed.
The two had waited for that moment for so long…(Please imagine what
happen next by yourself, I can’t write more, gomen.)

At the same time, inside
Toshiya’s cave…
Kei: Let me kiss you,
honey…*force herself on poor Tochi*
Toshiya: I’m not your
HONEY!*runs away and hides*HOLY SHIT!!! Somebody help me to get rib of that
weird woman!!!><

I want to be kidnap by Tochi, too! I feel so bad for my poor eng…I really feel
sorry for my eng teacher*sigh* It’s quite a long night which I have to use two
charters to write all the incidents down…strange…ne, see u later.
