Part 2

It was a week before Christmas when the stranger walked into Yoshiki¡¦s Pet Shop.

¡§Hello? Is anyone here?¡¨ The stranger asked as he entered. But there was no one to answer his call.

¡§Hello?¡¨ The stranger asked again, looking into the shop curiously and was slightly surprised by what he seen. He had heard that Yoshiki¡¦s Pet Shop was a very unusual place to begin with, but he didn¡¦t expect it to be so unusual that he couldn¡¦t find a single animal inside the shop.

So the blond haired man stepped a few steps forward into the pet shop, walking into a larger place, which seemed to be a dinning room. The place was warm and comfortable and there were a huge sofa in the middle of the room and he saw a very interesting object...no¡Khe should correct his own words into ¡§a very interesting person¡¨, clinging into a small leather ball on the sofa, sleeping soundly.

The stranger leaned a bit closer to study the small from out of curiosity, he found himself staring at a boy with messy blonde hair. Although this boy¡¦s figure was somehow¡Kscary¡Kto look at, still the stranger nevertheless didn¡¦t fail to notice there was a very lovely expression on the boy¡¦s sleepy face. (Author: Am I making any sense here?@__@)

A tender sensation warmed the blonde haired stranger heart suddenly as he watched the boy sleeping peacefully. He couldn¡¦t help but sitting down beside the boy, reaching one of his arm gently toward the boy¡¦s head to¡Kto touch him.

~Oh that little guy on the sofa was so CUTE! That was what this man could think of at this moment.

On the other hand, the sleeping boy, of course was our little hedgehog Kyo, didn¡¦t notice the approaching of the stranger. He was napping happily when he suddenly felt a hand stroking his head and heard a soft voice said the forbidden words in a very far, far away distance¡K

¡¨Kawaii ne¡K¡¨ It came out almost like a gentle whisper, still the words itself stabbed into Kyo¡¦s brain like a blade.

¡§AHHHHHH!!!¡¨ A dead scream broke loose from the little hedgehog¡¦s mouth as quills (Kyo¡¦s quills is his hair¡K^^;;;) went upward. He opened his eyes to see a tall figure sitting next to him, the man¡¦s eyes widen in surprise.

Jumping himself away from the blonde haired stranger, Kyo cried out. ¡§Get away from me!!¡¨

Still having no clue what he had done to make this boy so upset, the stranger quickly moved himself off the sofa. Meanwhile, poor Kyo was also trying his best to get as far away as possible from the stranger as if the latter was some kind of disease.

But it was too late; the ¡§kawaii¡¨ cruse was coming all the way back to him¡K

Kyo didn¡¦t know what to do to help himself, he simply looked up to the stranger¡¦s face and was less than pleased to find the latter¡¦s blue eyes were fixing on him with a hint of wicked amusement.

The two stood still and quiet in their positions, eyeing each other for quite a long moment before finally the third person joined their company¡K

¡§Kyo chan! What happen here? Why did you scream so loud all of a sudden?¡¨ Yoshiki hurried into the dinning room as Kyo rushed to the older man¡¦s side, hiding himself behind the shop owner.

¡§What wrong ne?¡¨ Yoshiki looked down at Kyo but couldn¡¦t find anything wrong with the little hedgehog, at least not physically.

¡§Yo-sama¡Khe¡Khe¡Kthis guy¡Khe said¡Ksaid¡K¡¨ it¡¦s all that could come out from Kyo¡¦s mouth.

The shop owner looked up to the stranger, and then back to Kyo again, then he started to realize what had happened. He had never seen Kyo being like this before, and there was only thing on earth that might make Kyo behave that way¡Kit was¡K

~Oh God! It can only mean¡Kit did happen to Kyo eventually! *giggles*~

With this thought on his mind, Yoshiki bowed to the stranger.¡¨ Sorry that I didn¡¦t introduced myself first! I¡¦m Yoshiki, the owner of this shop. And this is Kyo, the little hedgehog in my shop. Nice to meet you, Sir.¡¨

¡§Nice to meet you too.¡¨ The stranger replied.

Although he was quite surprised to hear Yoshiki refer the boy, Kyo as a hedgehog, still he found the whole idea interesting.¡¨ I¡¦m here looking for a pet, and I saw that you have such a cute little pet in your shop ne.¡¨

~No, not cute again! NO!~ Kyo screamed mentally. But nobody could hear him of course.

¡§Thank you for your nice words.¡¨ The shop owner smiled back, as he held onto Kyo¡¦s shoulders, preventing the latter from clawing his customer.

.¡¨ So¡Kmight I have your name?¡¨

¡§You can call me Gackt, please.¡¨ The man replied, with a smile on his face.

¡§Well, Mr. Gackt, what would you prefer ne?¡¨

¡§Humm¡KI think¡Kmaybe a small animal would be nice, a hedgehog for example.¡¨

Kyo growled as Gackt fixed his eyes on him again meaningfully. Yoshiki pretended not to notice a thing.

¡§Oh, you had came into a right pet shop for it ne, Sir!¡¨ Yoshiki exclaimed a little. ¡§Because hedgehogs are in promotion! You are welcome to pick them up in a very low price! And here¡¦s a nice cute hedgehog for you! Is he cute?¡¨

¡§Yes, he¡¦s a really cute hedgehog indeed.¡¨ The other people weren¡¦t going to agree this little hedgeohog was ¡§cute¡¨. Gackt admitted, but Kyo was so very cute in his opinion when he saw him sleeping on the sofa, looking so fragile and small like he needed to be protected.

Yoshiki was pleased to hear the word ¡§cute¡¨ came out from Gackt¡¦s mouth.

~What? Yo-sama you¡¦re not doing it to me¡KNo!

But Yoshiki looked into Kyo¡¦s eyes also meaningfully as if telling him: Yes, I¡¦m doing it, and don¡¦t forget what you¡¦d promised. (Author: poor Kyo!)

Therefore, all Kyo could do was to watch Gackt paid for him then sighed a contact with Yoshiki. Gackt would be Kyo¡¦s owner as long as he followed these pre-conditions¡K

1.      Combing Kyo¡¦s quills/hair everyday.

2.      Never let him sleep too much.

3.      Give him milk to drink as frequently as possible.

4.      Make him do exercise whether he like it or not. It is quite important because hedgehog needs exercise!

Kyo could only see one purpose in these rules that Yoshiki was setting up for him.

To make him suffer¡K

What else actually? Yoshiki loved to do this kind of thing to him anyway¡K

And now it seemed that the shop owner was also quite happy to send Kyo away. He waved as he and all of Kyo¡¦s friends seeing off the two to exit from the pet shop together. ¡§Have fun with your new pet, Sir!¡¨

~Finally there is someone to take Kyo chan home ne¡K~ Yoshiki smiled cheerfully. ~But I didn¡¦t expect that it would happen so soon! I¡¦m sure everything will be fine for Kyo chan ne!~

¡§I¡¦m sure I¡¦ll.¡¨ Gackt waved back.

~Yes, you will¡K I¡¦m going to try my damnedest to make you send me back¡Kyou better wait and see¡K~

Kyo thought evilly to himself with a slightly gloom expression on his face as he walked hand in hand (not very willingly) with his new owner, away from Yoshiki¡¦s sight.

To be continued¡K

Today is Christmas! So you might see this fic as a Christmas fic too! Too bad I haven¡¦t finished it yet!T0T
