Comment: the exam is finished and I’m alive again! So I decided to write a DEG fic with Kyo being cute in it! Again it’s a Pet Shop of Horror fic!!! I love Pet Shop of Horror!!!>O<

Part 1

Once upon a time there was a cute hedgehog called Kyo lived in Yoshiki’s pet shop. He had a bright blond hair, and always dressed in small black leather outfit that fit his small figure quite prettily. The little hedgehog was well loved by every living creature in the pet shop for he was a really lovely animal to begin with.

Despite all of his friends loved to remind Kyo how cute and lovely he was, still all the little hedgehog wanted was to look horrible, fearsome, mean and cool…everything but cute!!!! But no matter how hard he tried to make himself look horrible and scary, he always failed! And everyone kept calling him cute! Too bad!

Eventually, one day he decided that enough is enough so he went to shop owner Yoshiki for help.

“Yo-sama!” Kyo called to the older man.

“Yes, may I help you. Cute little Kyo?” The shop owner smiled back.

“ARGH!!!! Quit calling me CUTE!!!” The little hedgehog protested immediately.

“Sorry, my dear. It is hard to help myself sometime ne.” Yoshiki chuckled upon seeing Kyo pouted furiously in a very childish cute manner.

“So what do you want from me, Kyo chan?”

“I only want one thing from you, Yo-sama…” Kyo replied.” I want people to stop calling me CUTE! I want to be frightful and fearsome and cool to look at!”

Yoshiki giggled in amazement.” So what do you want to be fearsome for, Kyo chan?”

“If I could look scary enough, then people will stop calling me cute and treat me like a damn stupid kid or a terry bear! I AM NOT CUTE!” The little hedgehog insisted. ”I want people to know I’m not a harmless terry bear! I’m far too strong to be called cute!”

“But Kyo chan….i thought it’s possible for you to be very strong yet very cute at the same time ne. Why don’t you think about it?”

“No, I don’t think so! I’m so tired of people calling me cute such and such ne! I’m sick of them!” Kyo pouted again and begged. ”Yo-sama please…I know you can do it, make me what I want myself to be ne…please.”

Yoshiki smiled kindly to the latter. What a stubborn kiddo! He thought to himself. The other pets in the shop would only dream of becoming more pretty and desirable, so why couldn’t Kyo be like the rest of the other ne?

But it is okay, a stubborn pet like Kyo could still be very interesting ne…finally the shop owner replied. “Okay I can see your point. Now I’m going to from a spell to help you fulfill your wish, but it could be made only in one condition…”

“Alright, I’ll take whatever you ask me to do!”

Yoshiki curled his lips as he heard the latter’s words. Shortly afterward the shop owner from a spell for Kyo that made the latter no longer cute to the others’ eyes…(Author: Do ask me how Yoshiki can do it, I duno…) Such a power spell it was! Now the rest of the pets in the shop stopped telling Kyo how cute he was, instead they addressed began to addressed the little hedgehog how cool and scary he looked like. Need not to say, the blond was more than pleased to hear these comments from his friends!

When every was done and Kyo was no longer cute in appearance, Yoshiki brought a sheet of paper for Kyo to sign a contact with him, and this contact was quite simple with the following two pre-condition. The magic would only be able to work on Kyo if he again not to offend these conditions…

1.             The first person that enter into Yoshiki’s Pet Shop and call Kyo “cute”, he or she would become Kyo’s owner.

2.             If Kyo fall in love, the magic would be undone immediately and he will once again “cute”.

Kyo stared at the contact then signed it without a second thought. What these rules were to him actually? He didn’t want to have an owner and he was sure that nobody on earth would call him cute again as long as the spell worked well on him. And he was just so sure that he won’t fall in love. God he was never interesting in this matter!

So, the cute…no…scary little hedgehog Kyo in Yoshiki’s Pet Shop lived happily with his friends together. Now those bad old days when everyone loved to call him ‘cute’ seemed so far away from him and also so unreal. Altogether, Kyo was happy.

Until one day…the unthinkable happened!

Yes, it really did happen and it was the end of Kyo’s joyful life!!! Hahaha!!
