At
the end of the stairway, Sakura unlocked another heavy red door soundlessly,
then he stepped back to make way for Hyde. The brunette went in and felt his
heart began to pound once again. Now he was inside a chamber that only a handful
of customers had ever entered. And tonight everything was just as usual as they
used to be inside this chamber. In the center of the room there was a large
oblong dining table with lace tablecloth, a full set of dishware laying upon the
tablecloth in perfect order. Not far behind the dining table there was a iron
door that led to the kitchen.
Before
Hyde could settle himself down, the kitchen door opened and Ken, the Lead Chef
came in, he moved toward Hyde and cheered him as well like a old friend.
“Good
evening, Hyde! I’m so pleased to see you here tonight! You know I’m sure
you’d enjoy our tonight-special!” after stepping out of the kitchen , Ken,
the Lead Chef of The Restaurant cheered Hyde as he saw the brunette.
Then
the Lead Chef turned to the waiter. “Hurry up, Sakura chan! We’re just about
to bring the in meal! Yukki’ll better get inside to help Yukki ne!” Sakura
nodded to Ken slightly, before he made his way to the kitchen.
The
kitchen door was opened once again, carrying an over-size oblong sliver tray
carefully Sakura and Yukihiro made their way to the dining table, then placed
the tray on the table gently.
“”
“Need
not to wait for the others?” Hyde frowned lightly in surprise.
“No
need for it tonight, there won’t be the others here ne.” Ken answered this
question.
“Oh,
why?”
“Because
tonight we sever only you…”Yukihiro curled his lips slightly for a friendly
smile.
“Oh, so why could I have such honor
then?”
“Because you has always been faithful to us
and we had just decided that we should update your membership.”
“Congratulation, Monsieur!” Yukihiro
smiled to Hyde, who had expected everything but this, and all he could react was
to smile in amazement. A while later after the brunette had accepted this new
eventually. Then he began to speak again. “Really?” he asked with a touch of
doubt in his tone, but his eyes brighten with happiness. ”Oh no…It’s my
honor! I have to say thank all of you for that…”
“Well,
you could save this one…we still have business for tonight! Sit down first”
Ken said, and the waiter quickly made a seat for the brunette.
“So
please get ready then!” Sakura said cheerfully to Hyde, then handed a pair of
over-size knife and folk to their customer. They were almost as long as a 10
years old kid’s arm in length, delicately thin, long and narrow in shape but
extremely sharp.
And
now Sakura moving quickly to the other side of the table, then together with
Yukihiro they were going to remove the sliver lid from the top of the tray. Hyde
sat back to his armchair , held onto his breath, waiting in half amusement and
half anxious. You had to wait for a long while to have your chance to enjoy this
secret service of The Restaurant, and Hyde had already been waiting long enough.
And here he was again, both curious and dreadful like a little child who was
waiting to untie his gift.
The
lid was finally removed, now the brunette was having his first full view of
his….meal for tonight. And almost immediately, he recognized who was the
unconscious, bandaged from that lying on top of the cold smooth tray, with fresh
green vegetable surrounding.
It
was someone he knew.
Ken started chuckling softly beside him.
“Well…so what do you think about our offer?”
But
Hyde couldn’t answered him, not now. For he was being bath by a wave of
blissful ecstasy and indescribable excitement. But you couldn’t find any sense
of unevenness by simply looking at him. This kind of ecstasy was more cold,
chilly ,sweet secret enjoyment that running all the way down his spine,
spreading under his skin like a strong electrical current.
It
was a exquisite, thrilling and almost light-hearted excitement, liting his heart
up brightly, if Hyde had ever known happiness in his life, that was it!
Ah!
It was truly something worthwhile to desire for, to wait for, to even live for!
And
Finally Hyde spoke again.
“Oh…what a surprise indeed. You’ve got
Tetsu chan for tonight…”He paused for a second, his face passed into the
most innocent, gentle _expression that behind imagination. ”And I think it’s
lovely.”
