“Bzzz!”
went the alarm. At
that moment, all the A team members and the rest of the crowd jumped up
in the air. The Vikings won the tournament which took place in St.Maur,
Yokohama. Of course the tournament was great, but I also had some fun
time with my friends in Yokohama. I’ll write about five most
fascinating event that happened during the tourney.
When we were watching the first game, Kristie took out her
frozen
CClemon from her bag. She opened it, and it exploded. CC lemon fizzed
out of the bottle, so we hastened outside really quickly. Then Kristie
brought her digital camera to take some photos of it. When it finally
stopped, there was only half left in the bottle.
After the Vikings won the first game with ease, we went to
Starbucks
near the train station. Risa and Sara E wanted to go to the toilet but
there weren’t any at Starbucks, so they tried to go in the
Gap
shop, but it was not open yet. Finally they found a bathroom at the
train station. They took like 10 minutes looking for one toilet!
After the tough second game, Risa, Alice, Thor and I went to
a
convenience store near YIS. While we were talking, Alice kept on
saying, “my jeans don’t have a button so it keeps
on
falling down!” and started showing us the zipper that was
half
open. I still remember that Thor was very outraged by that because he
was the only boy there and he was very shy.
I got a chocolate ice cream from the convenience store and
went
back to St.Maur. When I finished eating it and put it in the plastic
bag, chocolate started dripping, and it looked like brown blood. I
accidentally put that in my backpack, and the chocolate got all over my
new white sweater. So Risa and I washed the sweater in the toilet using
the door of the corridor.
The last funny thing was the chestnut!! It was during the
last,
and the most crucial game of the tournament against AJIS, and I was
eating a chestnut from Yokohama China Town. But I accidentally dropped
it from the second floor of the gym, and it dropped on the basketball
court! I didn’t even have one bite. The game kept going and
nobody noticed it. I think some players stepped on it too. After 10
minutes, the daunting referee finally noticed and threw it away. We
still miss our chestnut… I was very happy about Vikings
winning
the tournament, but also having lots of fun with my friends at
Yokohama!!
