On My Own

Here we go,
I'm driving, cold, and all alone,
Here on this road,
That has forever been unknown,
With no destination to be known,
And with nowhere to call my home,
I'll keep on driving,
Keep on driving on my own

This highway's long,
Nothing but desert on each side,
And there's a chill,
Here on this starry summer night,
And there's no place to go tonight,
I wouldn't mind, it'd be alright,
If I had someone,
I had someone by my side

Feeling nostalgia,
For a place I've never been,
Trying to find a place to go,
But I don't know where to begin,
And I'm still driving on this road,
Trying hard to find my home,
I'll keep on driving,
Keep on driving on my own,
I'll keep on driving,
Keep on driving on my own.

**Brit's note**
LJ is a guy I work with who absolutely LOVES to annoy me. His daily goal is to
give me a headache I believe. But beyond that, I still think he is a interesting
person. He's a very good speaker (even though his logic can make no sense to me)
and has a big interest in filming and production. I have only sampled a very few
of his pieces, and I hope to read more someday. Email him and let him
know what you think.
