| Hillcroft: 2001 |
| I've been asked why I keep returning to Hillcroft. And I know exactly why. Every summer is better than the last, and until I hit the plateu of summer mediocracy, I will keep coming back for more. How can I not? People don't seem to realize the amazing times we have at camp. I mean, drinking aside, the work is absolutely wonderful. I adored my kids (well, maybe not all of them-- ahem, Rian) and the other five counselors that shared the fifth grade with me. They paired me up with Brendan, a local, who was my conscience through all of the dirt I fell in this summer. I did get messy. I can't even begin to start dropping names... It would start me on an emotional frenzy. But I will start by adding these lovely photos that Paul Hafemann took throughout the summer, some from my personal collection, along with a select few I swiped from Avi's collection. My personal favorite: The Pig. Be sure to go onto PAGE TWO so you don't miss all of 'em. |
