This is where I awnser frequently asked questions about SailorMoon. Most FAQs only have a few questions and don't really have what you are looking for. Not my FAQ, mine is long and spans several pages because I understand that their are a lot of Frequently Asked Questions. Please feel free to look around for answers to your questions. Is the Silver Millenium a time or a place?
Silver Millenium is the name of the old Moon Kingdom. It is not a time period although the dubbed version makes it out to be that way. It was actually a place and when Queen Serenity died she sent everyone to earth to save them but not neccessarily in the future.
If Mamoru has black hair and blue eyes and Usagi has blonde hair and blue eyes, then why does Chibi Usa have pink hair and red eyes?
In anime hair/eye color is not really as it is. The "color" is only for the viewer of the anime or manga to identify specific characters or more important main characters. Traits are given to them as an identity not because of their birth from one family or another. If it was that way Usagi would be out of place with her mother having blue hair, father having black, and brother having brown.
How old is Chibi Usa, really?
A whopping 900 years old.
What are the Golden Kingdom and the Golden Crystal?
The Golden Kingdom is Prince Endymion's old kingdom on Earth.
In the anime: the Golden Crystal was protected in the land of Elysion by Elios. The one who could activate the Crystal was Chibi Usa. In the manga: the Golden Crystal was actually Mamoru's crystal, in the same way Usagi's is the Silver Crystal. It was residing within him.
If the Dark Kingdom had never attacked the Silver Millenium would there be a SailorMoon or Tuxedo Kamen? There was never any mention that they existed in the past.
If the Silver Millenium hadn't been destoryed by Mettallia/Beryl and their minions, there wouldn't be a Sailor Moon or Tuxedo Kamen. The other 8 Sailor Soldiers,(Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Pluto)would still exist because they were created to be Princess Serenity's guardians, which is explained in the manga. Sailor Moon was created to protect the future Earth (future from a Silver Millenium standpoint) from the Dark Kingdoms. Tuxedo Kamen was created to protect Sailor Moon. So, if the destruction of the Silver Millenium had never occured, Serenity and Endymion would have gone on to be their normal, everyday selves (if you can really call those two normal). And they would all still be living in the Silver Millenium and would have never come to earth.
How many years did the series span in SailorMoon time?
The series spanned 2 years in SailorMoon time. Their were two birthday episodes before episode 200(the last episode). Usagi was 14 when the series started and she was 16 when it ended. As you know, a lot happened and Usagi changed a lot in only 2 years...
Where is Elios's place, Elysion, located?
It exists at Earth's core.
How is it that no one knows that the girls are the Senshi with those tell-tale hair styles and features?
Well, it is very simple really. They change appearance when they transform so that they look different to the people of SailorMoon. The only reason that we don't see them different is so that we can recognize the characters.
What happened to the Moon Kingdom in the manga?
The Silver Millennium was revived when Princess Serenity defeated Metallia at the end of the first season. She was offered the chance to take her place at the throne but declined and stayed on Earth with Mamoru(aww...how sweet).
What happened to Usagi's disguise pen?
As she became more used to battles and found villains without needing to get into places where she would need a disguise she used it less and less. In the anime she used it up through SMR and then Venus used it in SMS to disguise herself as Sailor Moon. So it is still around, it just isn't used very much anymore.
Who is Yuuichirou really?
Kumada Yuuichirou was not a failed musician, but a drunk man who fell asleep on the shrine stairs. When he met with Rei-chan he fell in love and decided to stay at the shrine.
Why do the Senshi say their attacks in english?
I think they say them in english because the japanese language is dotted with english (and english sounding)words, so if they were real, the attacks would be in english anyway. If you notice, though, the english translations of the attacks aren't the same.
