Review

Another spectacular album. The Isley Brothers had refined rock/disco and now had it down to a science. The uptempo tunes had extended vamps, slithering, driving backbeats, and funky rhythms, while the ballads were smooth and sentimental. Ernie Isley would get a track to blaze away on guitar, and the whole thing revolved around the group's non-stop excitement and intensity.
