| this is actually scrap from my moms hand mirror. I would've thrown it away if it weren't Mr. Pickard's suggestion to keep the scrap after he fished them out of the garbage. The scrap looked something like this: |

| Only big enough to make half of a small frame I was forced to cut each half in half along the width. From there I created my own veneer frame by lamenating the sanded cut scrap onto walnut, cutting out the mitered frame pieces, and glueing them together. This was my first miter cut in all my two previous years, so as could be expected they weren't perfect unlike some of my latter works. |
