·
(john 4:24) “God is
Spirit” (rom 8:9, 1 cor 12:4). Our decisions are eternal unless cleansed by
blood. We can find favor with God if we “live by faith,” living for things that
we can’t see directly but are a part of us. On earth we have the choice
about the progress of our souls, but in God’s judgment, He has the choice
to destroy it (Matt 10:28), or give it “life" (Mark 4:25, Luke 9:24).
Spiritual death is separation from God’s Spirit thereby removing His
attributes (Gal 5:22-23), leaving that soul without Spirit/Life/Light (Gal
5:17-21). Hell is eternal for satan, perhaps the “until” in matt 18:34
means that the condemnation of most isn’t eternal.
·
“a still small voice” is our conscience;
it can be mistaken for thoughts, motives and desires. So caution is
necessary with or without the Holy Spirit. Just ask and He will give it to
His children (Luke 11:13).
·
Obeying your
Conscience and Jesus is wise. (1cor 1:30) obeying your conscience means
obeying God relatively (Rom 8:9, 9:1).

- Evil or Good applies
to each motive, desire, thought and decision. It is not an all inclusive
absolute.
- Changing directions
on these arrows from temporary to eternal represents true
repentance.
- Sin against the Holy Spirit is not
repenting, which is why it is unforgivable
|
|
It is not having or
thinking about the attributes of one side or the other that are inherently
wrong. "God hates divorce," Jesus lost his temper in the temple, God
is a jealous God, God's jealousy
is selfish, God is bitter towards evil, God is unreliable for un-confessed sinners
who pray, and God can't be controlled.
On the other hand, if a person shows the fruits of the Spirit for most of
their known lives but does it with the wrong motives and desires, then they
are not good, but evil; which is a fairly accurate description of the
Pharisees and Sadducees
