Faith
Faith is: simple,
open-minded, willing to learn, bold and humanly incomplete.
Faith is in what you learn.
The best faith never stops learning.
Wise faith is
often quiet.
Faith is in the knowledge you
have.
Faith can be mislead as
misleading can be knowledge.
Faith is in what or who
guides you. Everyone has faith. True faith is in true
knowledge but of what use is a little faith if it doesn’t seek more
truth to grow in?
If faith is found
in a lie, what hope is there? God is the only truth; everything else is a
lie.
Realistic faith
is only in God. God is hope. Keep your faith and hope that it is
God.
True hope will give
life, and false hope brings disappointment.
Faith is what saves, and faith
is what condemns.
Faith is chosen. How many
choices are there?
(Romans 4:16)
Believe first then do.
If you lack understanding
of what you believe, then seek more so that you can do.
Seeking is the key to
believing, and this is the heart of faith. Faith’s desire is
seeking to grow.
For a living person, faith
can only be alive. If faith doesn’t grow, it is dead.
Only living faith
can give life, and then only if it's cornerstone is true.
Faith in Jesus is the only
true hope, because then your hope is in God.
In order to simplify:
read this again and replace faith with trust.
Belief shouldn't be a
vague and foggy concept. Believing
can be best described like this:
'To trust in God you
need to be leaving yourself
behind.'
If faith says change is
needed, then believing it is true means doing it.
Belief means be willing
to act out a thought you think is true.
If a thought doesn’t
lead to an action, it is not a belief, rather just an idea.
Faith is an idea that is
validated by experience, so believing leads to faith.
Trust is for doing, and doing means believing.
Believing is for faith, and faith means trust. Trust is in belief, and
belief leads to what is done. Doing is with faith, and faith is in what you
think is right. What you think is right is what you trust. Trust is in
doing, and doing the right thing means acting out faith.
Faith is the key. Without a key, the door can’t
be opened. Without turning the key, it can accomplish nothing. If nothing
results from faith, then faith is dead. If my faith were dead, then what
would that make me?
An idea leads to an action, which is a belief. A
belief generates faith, which is assurance. Assurance leads to more action
and ideas. If this is found to be false for someone, then they have found a
problem with their faith. Faith is assurance that results from
accomplishing what you believe.
