Explanation
There are many substantial
arguments over scriptures for whatever side. A disturbing majority of
groups insist that if others don’t prescribe to their concept of
Trinitarian or non-Trinitarian policies, true worship and salvation are not
possible. "But
an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit
and truth” (John 4:23). It seems apparent this hour has
yet to arrive for many due to the conflict in what “truth,” “Spirit,” and
“worship” are. One day everyone will agree.
So what is the correct
translation? Who can prove they are right? No one is right when it comes to
the veracity of the truth. The truth itself is the only one that will prove
to be right. People who attempt to prove that they are right are ironically
providing evidence that they are wrong. “Everyone is a liar… no one is
seeking God… their tongues practice deceit” (Rom
3:10-18).
I have no righteousness of my own. Only God is righteous. What then of who
is right? How should we discuss such matters if we all are liable of having
corrupt motives? We should just share what we think we know as clearly as
possible and realize that since we are not God, we are capable of being
wrong. My goal is to find the clearest ways possible to share my ideas. I
learn from experience that nearly all Christians have different concepts.
It's ok to attempt to uncover the truth, to interpret scripture, but I
can't, nor should anyone else become fooled into proving that we are right,
because then we would be trying to prove we are God. I realize this seems
bitterly extreme. Yet it remains that unrighteous pride is evil and the
source of everything discouraging.
I wrote down what I think I
know about the Bible in brief explanations. I am trying to find ways of
revealing my understanding as clear as possible. I would love for anything
of mine to be proven wrong since it would prove that I am not God; however
my attitude will help make the things I write become truthful. I’ve prayed
constantly about these topics, and discussed with other. The chances become
fewer and then absent that I am wrong as I look intently for faults in
myself, what I say and what I write. In life miracles are reserved for God,
but on paper an eraser works fine.
These topical studies are the
lens I use to see the Bible. They are concepts written to reveal how I
think. I would love if these help others to understand more about God.
Please be a skeptic and don't believe everything if it sounds wrong, or
goes against what you think you know is true. Search for the proof if
something seems wrong. These would be good subjects to discuss with other
mature believers. It would help everyone gain better understandings. Most
importantly pray so God can guide you to the answers.
