We started mixedUPmusic.com to bring some great Texas music to the world. It was started by former Detroit/Dallas/Orlando radio personality Gary Shaw in the spring of 2002. During his 15 years in Dallas, he also worked as Regional Promotions Director for Capitol Records.
During the radio years in Dallas, he created The Texas Music Hour on KTXQ-Q102, an Album Rock FM station. Over 35 bands from around Texas were invited into Pantego Sound Studios, and recorded live for the show. More than 200 songs were recorded and digitally edited for the world to hear at our official home...mixedUPmusic.com.
