History
It was a hot July day when Mixed Nutz was created. A group of friends decided to go
to the Helmet Roast, which is an ABATE event, and enjoy the weekend with good company.
Little did we know we would take it a step further. There were many nights spent at a local favorite
restaurant planning, figuring, laughing, and fighting. Finally the name was developed. The
name is very fitting for anyone who has seen our group in one place at one time. Then we
decided to form a riding club. We are still under construction. Hey give us a break, we just
started to form the club in 2001. We are very determined to make it work and have many
enjoyable events!
