Eagle woke up before the rest of his dorm, tired, after spending most of the night just watching Matt sleeping. He looked at Matt, who had instictivly snuggled against Eagle in his sleep. He bit his bottom lip, God, he was gorgeous.

Art tiptoed in, trying not to wake the others. He knelt down beside Eagle. "How are you?" he whispered

Eagle smiled, "In heaven"

"I'm gonna have to wake them all up you know."

Eagle loked at him "Not yet."

Art sighed, "Five minutes, then you wake them up, after ten minutes I'm sending Seiji back in."

"Thanks" muttered Eagle as Art left. He stared at Matt in his arms, smiling, and blinking back tears. He couldn't cry, he couldn't let him know, and very soon, he was going to have to let go. He gently kissed the top of Matt's head, breathing in the scent of his hair. Then reluctantly, he slid his arms out from underneath him. He pushed Matt out of bed, "Oy, Matty boy, wake up." He grinned at the other kids, "I've been told to wake you lot up, otherwise we have the joy of Seiji coming to wake us up."

"I'm a very joyful person," said Seiji, from the doorway, where he had infact been stood for sometime.

Eagle looked at him, panicked, worried at what he had seen.

Seiji mimed zipping his lips shut, and smiled at Eagle. He turned to Nienna, "Um, what are you doing in my bed."

She stared at him sleepily, "The swords on the floor, and Art was going to tell us where your diary was, only then he pointed out you didnt keep one."

Seiji checked the back pocket of his trousers, "I do, but if anyone tries to read it, it looks like they're feeling me up," he grinned. "So what events bring you three in here?" he asked the girls.

"Well," Mara began, "It was a little unpleasant in our dorm, a bit....friendly, if you know what I mean,"

"Mikey, Ally, J and Toni were all screwing each other." Nienna added, bluntly, as always.

Art walked in, without knocking, "Okay, guys," he paused, "and girls. We have a situation, which I intend to sort out. However, you need to decide upon it, as a group. Ok?"

"What is it?" Mara asked.

Art took a deep breath, "We're breaking rules for you lot here, ok? Now, girls aren't allowed in boys dorms, and vica versa, but, you can if you wish be moved to a different dormatory, all of you, and have a mixed dorm, and the others would be in a different dorm. Or you can go back to how you were."

Everyone looked aroung, glancing at each other

"Can we think about it?" Asked Alex,

"Sure, you have until tomorrow, if you want don't want to go back to normal, you'll have to cram in again for another night, untill we can sort out a different dorm, but it should be good."

Eagle tried hard not to smile at the thought of another night with Matt, "Uh, what about me?" he asked.

"What about you?"

"Well, I'm not really in this year, am I?"

Everyone looked horrified, "You're not taking Eagle away from us," Fergie cried, "He's cute!"

Art looked confused, "I was forgetting you weren't really one of this mad lot, no, unless you want to come and live permanatly in my room, you stay with this lot."

"Excuse me!" Squealed Seiji, "I don't think you should be making that offer with me around,"

Art laughed, "Sorry," he grinned at seiji, and then turned to Eagle, "Do you have any frees today, I need to have a word with you."

Eagle snickered, "Yup, first lesson,"

Art shook his head, "No, not like that, a real conversation. Art room please." He turned to the rest of the dorm, "Now I better go and have a go at those stupid fuckers that ruined everything, hadn't I?"

He knocked on the door of the girls dorm, there was no reply. So he barged the door open, to find Ally, Mikey, J and Toni all asleep on the floor. "GET UP!" he yelled.

"Oh shit," swore Mikey,

Art snarled at him, "No speaking. Now, you all know how much I hate you lot, and what you did was dispicable. I want you all outside the boarding house at 7:05 pm tonight for a detention, and I also want you to come and apologise to Raven Yue, for making her cry. NOW!" he barked.

The four of them scrambled up, grabbing shorts and t-shirts, and followed him to the other dorm. Art knocked on the door.

"Come in,"

He led the four of them in, "Now what have you got to say?" he asked,

"Sorry," the mumbled,

"NO!" Yelled Art, "I want you to say it properly and in full!"

"We're sorry for making you cry Raven," they chorused.

"Now go an put some proper clothes on your disgusting excuse for bodies." He snarled. As they left, he turned to the others, "Sorry about that, I like humiliating them," he looked at them all, still tucked up in bed, apart from Matt and Eagle, who were lying on the floor in hysterics.

Tor leaned over the side of his bed, and talked, upside down, to Fergie. "You still pissed off with me?"

Fergie thought about it, "Yes, but I don't like it, I want us to be friends again."

Tor climbed out of bed and sat on the edge of Fergie's bed, "I want to be friends again too Ferg," he leant in closer, to whisper to his brother, "But I really like her, and please dont spoil things,"

Fergie slipped an arm around Tor's waist, who shook his head.

"So," started Alex, "This whole mixed dorm thingie, shall we vote?"

"ooh ooh," Squealed Ash, "We could do you have to shut your eyes, and then put your hand up."

"Or just put our hands up." Pointed out Alex, "Right who's for having a mixed dorm."

Everyone except Fergie put their hands up.

"And against?"

Fergie put his hand up.

Alex laughed, "That's only cause it means you can't screw your brother."

"Oh no," Fergie grinned, "I'll screw him anyway, I just don't want to watch him screwing anyone else, he's my brother, that's just wrong." He laughed,

The bell rang for breakfast.

After breakfast, and after making sure Matt had all his french books and was safely in his french lesson, Eagle went to the Art room. Art sat there, alone at his desk, doing a rare bit of marking. He held his arms out to Eagle, "Come here and have a hug"

Eagle went over and sat on Art's lap, leaning against him.

"Dear oh dear," Art sighed, wrapping his arms around Eagle, "He has got you messed up, hasn't he. Bastard."

"Don't call him that," Snapped Eagle, "He's not a bastard, he's lovely," he thought about what he had just said, "Oh, this is awful," he looked up at Art, "Help me."

Art kissed him, "Darling, you're so deep in love, even I can't get you out. But if you ever want to just forget about him, I'm always here."

Eagle laughed, "Trust you. Won't Seiji mind?"

Art shrugged, "Seiji puts up with a suprising amount before he flips. Mind you," he added, mostly to himself, "When he does flip, it's scary."

For a minute, they were both silent, Eagle absent mindedly tracing out letters on Art's chest with his finger.

"What you writing?" asked Art,

Eagle blushed, "I love Matt?" he grinned, "I know, I'm awful and obsessed, and no-one can stand me because I won't shut up about him." He laughed,

Art was serious for a moment, "Is that why you hang out with the lower sixth, because the upper sixth are pissed off with you talking about Matt all the time."

"Mostly, that and cause I'm really thick," Eagle sighed, "It's just, when I'm with him, I have to pretend that we're just mates, and that I'm only fooling around, so when he's not there, I kinda go into 'I love Matty' overdrive." He laughed "Like I am doing now,"

"Hey," Art kissed him gently, "That's ok, remember a few years back, when I wouldn't shut up about Seij?"

Eagle laughed, "You still wont shut up about him. Atleast he loves you back."

"Matt loves you."

"Yeah," Eagle leant against Art once more, "But not in the right way."

Riding that afternoon was one of the few non-compulasry lessons. At the beginning of the lesson, Miss Guvna, the riding mistress asked if anyone really didn't want to ride. Raven, Matt and Alex all put their hands up.

"Well some of the upper sixth are going on a nature ramble, and are coming to pick you up then, just wait over there."

"Gosh," Muttered Toni, "I can't imagine not riding," She smirked, "Daddy says I'm the best at riding in the world."

Miss Guvna turned to the rest, "Go and fetch your horses ladies and gentlemen, and tack up please."

The all headed off for the stables, except for Seiji, who let out a long peircing whistle. There was a scraping sound, then a thunk, like a bolt being nosed across, and a beautiful grey horse trotted out of the stables, straight up to Seiji.

"Hello Hotaru," he put his arms around the horses neck.

Miss Guvna did not look impressed, "Well, tack up then."

Seiji stared at her, "No thank you."

She frowned, "One of that type, ey? Well, we'll see how good you are in a second."

When everyone had lined up, mounted, infront of her, she spoke to the class. "Today, we're just going to do some flat ground work, no jumps. I need to know what's the fastest you've ever been, and no exaggerating to make yourself look good." She went down the line starting with the twins.

"Gallop," Fergie,

"Gallop," Tor,

"Canter," blushed Nienna,

"Canter," Ash,

"Omg, you've only done a canter," snorted Toni when they got to her. She beamed proudly, "I can trot."

Everyone collapsed laughed,

"Seriously," Miss Guvna frowned,

"No really, Sitting trot, AND rising trot."

Miss Guvna shook her head, "Okay, well, we'll have to do alot of work with you then,"

"Gallop," Mikey,

"Canter," Ally,

"Canter," J

"Gallop," Satu

She got to the end of the line, "And you, Mr, I'm a brilliant rider, whats the fastest you've ever gone," she taunted Seiji,

"Racing across the plains at sunrise. Racing the rising sun so as not to be caught at the murder scene." He grinned evilly, "I don't get these scars for nothing, Lady."

Alex, Matt and Raven stood leaning against the gate, as a group of the upper sixth approached. Led by a stunningly tanned, annoyingly pretty blonde. She walked up to them,

"Hi, I'm Ariadne, you must be the lower sixth coming with us." She noticed Matt, and, walking over to him, gently stroked a finger down his cheek, "And who are you?"

"Matt." Matt grinned,

"Short for Matthew?"

"Yuhuh," Matt couldnt take his eyes off her.

"I do like the name Matthew, such a strong name," She took his hand, and turned to the other two, "Come on then." She noticed one of them was Raven, "Oh look," She giggled nastily "It's Birdies little sister,"

"Birdie?" Matt asked,

"Yeah, it's what we call that moron Eagle Yue,"

To Raven's complete and utter horror, Matt laughed,

"But less talk of him," Ariadne kissed him on the cheek, "And more talk of you, tell me about yourself."

Alex and Raven stayed at the back of the walk, following the others, as far away from Ariadne flirting with Matt as they could get. Raven was still a bit sniffly from last night, and when she heard Ariadne bitching about Eagle, she started to cry again.

Alex, upset that she was crying, overjoyed that he could comfort her, put an arm around her shoulders, "Don't worry, she's just a silly bitch."

"But what about Matty, he's agreeing with her."

"Friendship is constant in all other things
Save in the office and affairs of love" Quoted Alex,

"That's Much Ado!" Raven looked up at him, "How do you know that?"

He smiled, "Even we mortal fools are allowed to love shakespeare too."

Raven blushed, "I just, I thought only geeks did,"

"Well then," Alex leant closer and whispered in her ear, "Maybe I am a geek. Although," He straightened again, "I'm more of a classical geek because I prefer Catullus to Shakespeare."

Raven laughed, "Well, I guess we all have our faults,"

At four o'clock exactly, Ariadne led the nature ramble lot back to the boarding house. Eagle streched just before they came in, and his elbow click, making a loud cracking sound. It might as well have been the cracking of his heart, as he saw Matt walking in, gazing adoringly at Ariande.

She stopped, and, infront of Eagle, kissed Matt, gently stroking the side of his face, "Come find me later," she instructed him, and walked off.

Luckily, Art was just coming down the stairs, and saw the whole thing. "Eagle, my room, now." he ordered.

And Eagle, grateful to get away, pausing only for a longing look at Matt, scampered obidiently up the stairs.

Art walked him to his room in silence. As soon as the door was shut, he put his arms around Eagle, who began to sob.

"Shhh" whispered Art, wiping away his tears, "No crying," he picked Eagle up, and put him on the bed, "Sex first, cring about it and talking later."

Eagle shook his head, "Don't want to," he mumbled,

"Trust me," Art started to undo the buttons on Eagle's shirt, "You'll feel so much better."

At 7:00 Art found Seiji, and pulled him into a quiet corner. He shoved a spray can into his hand, "I need a favour,"

Seiji shrugged, "Only if you tell me where you've been,"

Art shook his head, "You don't want to know,"

"I do,"

"Screwing Eagle, but only because Matt's breaking his heart."

"Fine," Seiji nodded, "Just so as I know, and understand. Matt's breaking Eagle's heart, so you're breaking mine. Nice. Now what was it you wanted me to do?"

"Don't be like that Seij," Art tried to put his arms around him, but he struggled away,

"Not now, I'm pissed off, later, sure, but not now."

"Ok," Art knew when to give Seiji space, so instead he just whispered his plan into Seiji's ear.

At 7:05, Ally, Mikey, J and Toni were outside the boarding house, where they had been instructed to be. Art led them around to the back of the boarding house, where the rest of their year sat, staring at the back wall of the boarding house. Which was covered in graffiti.

Freshly painted, in bright red paint, the wall was covered in Seiji's distinctive handwriting. Phrases like, "I love Art," and "Art gives good head," and, "Art has a sexy body,". There was a picture, in Seiji's distinctive style, of a person, with their back to the audience, giving Art a blow job. And to top it all, in the middle of the rest of the year, Seiji sat, spray can at his feet, red paint covering his hands, an evil grin on his face.

"Now," began Art, "I can't think for the life of me who has done this."

"But, bu," Stuttered Ally,

"Shut up," Snarled Art, "But as you have detention, you can clean it off." He pointed to some buckets of water and cleaning stuff. "The rest of your year have volunteered to watch you, and if you mess me around atall, you'll be doing it in your underwear." He smirked,

Ally flipped and grabbed Art by the collar, pulling him towards him, so their faces were only centimetres apart. "You bully us," he snarled,

Slowly and calmly, Art leant forward, and kissed him on the lips, "That's not an advisable thing to do to someone who is gay," he laughed, as Ally spat on the floor and wiped his mouth in disgust, "And it is you who are the bullies, and," he added with a smirk, "you messed me around, so you can do it in your undies," he snarled at the rest, "all of you."

"No," Said J, "You can't do it, and Ally told me what you did to him yesterday, and you're not allowed to undress us."

"Hmmm maybe not. Fergie, Tor," Art called,

The twins obediently stepped forward, and undressed the four students. Smirking, they gave the clothes to Art, who tossed them to Seiji. "Now, start cleaning," he ordered, "And you're not allowed back in, until it's all clean. You could get mighty cold." He walked over to the students, and sat down beside Seiji.

"Art," asked Seiji, "Can I go and wash my hands in the meths now."

Art nodded.

Seiji got up and walked over to where the cleaning equiptment was, he used some of the meths and the water and a cloth to clean the bright red paint off his hands. He was walking back, when Ally grabbed him by the collar, just as he had done to Art. Unfortunatly for Ally, Seiji's reactions are quicker than Art's. There was a click, and a blur, and two flick knives appeared at Ally's throat, one in each of Seiji's hands. Seiji then, imitating Art, leant forward, and kissed him, "I'm not as nice as my boyfriend," he smirked, "and I like blood alot more."

There was a thud, as Fergie fainted.

"Leave him," Art laughed, "Come here,"

"Wow," laughed Ally, "You really are like his little dog, aren't you," he taunted Seiji.

"It might be wise to remember I still have my knives with me," Seiji reminded him, as he walked back to join the others. "What happened to Fergie?" he asked Tor,

Tor laughed, "You said the B word, He's kinda really bad with it,"

Seiji laughed, "I knew there was a reason I hadn't screwed him yet."

At 10 o'clock, Art went to turn the lights out in the dorms. "You coming with me?" he asked Seiji,

"No. I'm still angry with you."

"But, where's Nienna gonna sleep then?" asked Mara,

"Well, if Nienna sleeps in the bunk above Seiji, then you can sleep in my bed, and I'll share with Fergie," Tor offered.

Mara grinned at him, "Would you?"

"Sure,"

"Thanks" she flung her arms around him, and kissed him on the cheek.

"Well that's all settled then, into bed." Art told them,

"Uh, where's Matt," Asked Raven innocently,

Art put his head in his hands, "I'll go find him." He went straight away to Ariadne's dorm, and, without knocking, pushed the door open. "You," he pointed at Matt, who was lying beside Ariadne on her bed, "Your own dorm, now."

Matt scampered out. Art walked over to Ariadne, "And don't think I don't know why you're doing this. You know how much he means to Eagle,"

She snorted, "That stupid idiot's so thick, he probably wouldn't even notice."

"Oh he would. Have you ever broken someone's heart?"

"No!" she squealed, "I'm a nice person when it comes to guys."

"You're lying, you've broken Eagles, you've taken away the one thing he ever wanted. Bitch." he spat, and walked out.

Looking shamefaced, Matt hurried into the dorm, putting up with jeers and taunts from the other boys. He pulled off his shirt and trousers, and slipped into bed beside Eagle. "She's so gorgeous," he said,

"She's a bitch," Eagle told him, "Don't get messed up with her, she'll only hurt you."

Matt shook his head, "What would you know about girls."

"I know about being hurt," Eagle whispered to himself.

Tor climbed into bed beside Fergie, "Love you Ferg," he muttered,

"What 'bout your girlfriend?" Fergie said sulkily,

"Why do you think I put her above us," Tor whispered, "So she can't see us." He laughed gently, and kissed Fergie, "Sorry for being such a bastard,"

Fergie kissed him back, "You're not a bastard, you're lovely."

Alex lay in his bed, preparing for another sleepless night of staying awake, to watch Raven sleep. But atleast she had actually had a conversation with him today. He smiled to himself, and turned onto his side, to watch her.

Not long after, Art slipped into the room, and sat down on the floor beside Seiji's bed. He reached out a hand to touch Seiji's face. Seiji turned away to face the wall, his back to Art. Art layed his head on his knees, and watched him, he watched him sob silently, so noone would know, and he couldn't comfort him.

Tentativly, Seiji reached out a hand. Art took it, and sat there, for the rest of the night, holding his hand.

Once again, Eagle knew the simulateous heaven and hell of lying with Matt in his arms. As he felt Matt drift off to sleep, he gently kissed his forhead, "Night Matty,"

Matt leant forward, and gently kissed Eagle on the lips, "Night," he murmerd

Shocked, Eagle shook him partially awake, "Matt, did you mean that?" he asked urgently,

"Mean what?" Asked a confused Matt, "I was asleep,"

"But you, you,"

"I didn't say anything, I was asleep."

"Ok," Eagle sighed, understanding that Matt hadn't meant it, and had probably been dreaming of someone else. "Go back to sleep," he stroked the side of Matt's head,

Matt brushed his hand away, "I said no funny business."
