Art rolled over, "Seiji?" he muttered, then, noticing the empty space beside him, "Fuck." he rolled back onto his front, feeling the crackle of paper, where there should be none. He reached into his boxers and took out the note Seiji had stuffed there.

Dearest, sweetest, most gorgeous, darling (you get the idea) Art.

Yeah, I've gone away, I'll be back by tomorrow night, DO.NOT.BLAME.YOURSELF! If you're looking for someone to blame, blame your sister, we've gone to a concert.

Do not even bother to try and track me down, you wont be able to.

I love you more than you can possibly imagine, and I PROMISE to go to bed with you when I get back nomatterwhat!

LOVE

SFY

Art looked around the dorm, "Okay guys, wakey wakey," he said, grinned, "Anyone see where Sei went last night?"

"Wha?" muttered Fergie sleepily, still in his wet trousers, still in Tor's bed, still alone. He to felt something that shouldn't be there, he took out the peice of paper.

I know how you feel about my boyfriend.......

While I'm gone, don't screw him, okay?

Don't let anyone else screw him either, ok?

Especially not Eagle, ok?

Seiji

P.S. You're really cute.

"Uh, I think he's gone somewhere," Fergie said, "He kinda left me a note."

"You too?" Art raised an eyebrow, "Whatsit say?"

"Uh, nothing," Said Fergie hurriedly, "Nothing important,"

"Lemme see," Art tried to grab it off him

"NO!" Fergie held it really tight, "It has no relevant info as to where he might have gone, he's just taking the piss out of me, that's all."

"Fine, fine," Art sighed, "See if I care." he looked around the room, "Any other clues?"

"Uh, apart from the message taped to my bunk saying: 'I hate you, do not screw my Art'?" Eagle laughed,

"I don't think that helps us. Bugger," Art swore, "I have to go do loads of paperwork now. I hate it when people run off."

Sir sat, feet on his desk, hands behind his head, and raised one eyebrow at Art, "Should we go after him?"

"No offence Sir, but Seiji is practically, for want of a better word, A fully trained Ninja, there's no way on earth we could catch him. If he wanted to be followed, he'd have said."

The head smiled benevolantly, "And do we trust him to come back tomorrow?"

"I should hope so." Art laughed, "Yes, he wouldn't lie,"

"And you mentioned he was with someone, could we not perhaps try and track them?"

Art grinned, "Amber? You could just follow the trail of smoke," and then added, when Sir looked confused, "My sister's a pyromaniac, she shouldn't be too hard to track, if it's worth it."

"You think it isn't worth it?"

"Well, they have a good headstart on us, Seiji could have left anytime after 2am, thats," he looked at his watch, "7 hours, he could be halfway across the country by now, and we have no clue as to where he is, by the time we find him, he'll be back here."

At lunchtime the lower sixth were downcast,

"It's weird without Seiji being grumpy." Ash said, chin resting on his hands.

"It's even weirder without Art," Fergie muttered.

"Yeah," Nienna looked up, "It never quite figured that he just hung round with us to be with Seiji."

"He IS his boyfriend," Eagle grinned, "What more do you expect?"

"Yeah," Fergie checked to see that the note was still in his pocket, paranoid that someone else might find it, or worse, steal it.

At 10 o'clock exactly Art looked around the door, "Night people," he grinned, "Lights out." he said, and, without giving them time to change flicked the light out.

Eagle looked towards the door as it shut, and heard Art sliding down the wall, a sob catching in his throat. He started to go, but Fergie grabbed his arm, "What!"

"You can't go, Seiji specifically said I had to keep you away from Art,"

Eagle shook his head, "Tell you what, you come too, make sure I don't screw him, yeah?" he grinned, "I'm not sure I can cheer him up anyway."

Together they slipped outside the door. They found Art, sat against the wall, head in his hands, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Eagle sat down beside him, "Aww come on Art, it's not all that bad, he'll be back tomorrow."

"You don't get it," Art looked up, "He's with Amber, my sister, the only other person he'd ever sleep with, other than me." He wiped away tears with the back of his hand, "Well, I'm no-one to talk," he laughed, standing up, "I trust him not to touch her," he grinned, "and now, I'm off to bed."

Miles away, Seiji lay at the very edge of the tent, facing the canvas wall. He felt arms slip around his waist, saw dark red hair falling over his shoulder, felt the touch of her lips on the back of his neck, and swore, "Fuck Amber, I'm with your brother."

Amber grinned, "You still think I'm hot though?"

"I don't love you,"

"Don't care," Amber held him tighter, "Screw me anyway."

Seiji turned around so he was facing her, slipping one arm around her, he used his free hand to brush her hair off her face, kissing her softly as he did, "I fucking hate you Amber Tevelen,"

She frowned, "Why?"

"If it weren't for you, I'd be a good boyfriend to Art,"

Amber sighed, "Do me a favour Sei,"

"What?"

"Just for one night, don't talk about my brother."

Seiji woke up, Amber in his arms, "Fuck Am," he swore, "Why the hell did you do that to me?"

She, already awake, grinned at him, "It was fun,"

"Amber," he put a hand under her chin, "I like ART!" He scowled, "And you've probably just fucked things up between us,"

She still held him tight, gazing up at him, "I love you," she muttered,

Seiji smiled partronisingly, "Yes, whatever, Am,"

She reached up, and touched his face, "As it should peirce a thousand hearts,"

Seiji laughed, "That's my speech," he rolled over, grabbing his trousers, "And I still like your brother way more."

"Fuck you," Amber swore, reaching out for her jeans, "I hate you,"

"And you just told me you loved me,"

"My only love, sprung from my only hate," she grinned

"What's with the shakespeare?"

"I'm just showing you that I'm your intellectual senior."

Seiji shook his head, grinning, "How you getting home?"

"Mum's picking me up, want a lift?"

Seiji shrugged, "Sure, and not a word about last night, ok?"

Amber grinned, "Maybe I won't maybe I will."

Seiji scowled, "God I hate you."

It was nearly lights out time, by the time Seiji got back to his dorm, dumping his bag on his bed, he flopped down, "Hey guys." he grinned.

"Where have you been!" Ash squealed, "We missed you!"

Seiji shrugged, "There was a band I wanted to see, I went to a concert,"

He stood up and wandered over to his chest of drawers, putting things like his sketchbook and unwanted knives back into it.

Art walked in, "SEIJI!" he squealed, "God, I missed you," he reached out, putting a hand on Seiji's cheek,

Seiji flinched away, turning his head so Art couldn't reach him.

Art shook his head, "Oh dear, that's the flinch of a guilty man," he laughed, "You been screwing my sister Furu-Yama?"

"Sorry?" Seiji tried,

Art shrugged, "I don't know, you leave all these messages making sure I don't screw anyone else, and then you go and screw my sister," he laughed.

Seiji scowled, "I didn't want to. She made me. I hate her." he looked up at Art, "Are you gonna forgive me?"

Art thought about it, "I might want some begging," he sniggered, "Later," he put a hand firmly on Seiji's back, pushing him out the door, "You've been screwing my sister, I'm not touching you till you've had a shower."

Seiji grinned, and grabbed a towel.
