George Varghese

			George is the lead guitarist of the Mixed Fruit Jam. He was one of the founder members that started 		the band in 1996.  
			
			Presently he works as a Computer Software Engineer at Sallie Mae Solutions. He has a passion for 
		Electronics and Astronomy. He aspires to expolre the world of Robotics and Artificial Intellegence. He dreams
	 	to play a show of International Standards. His favourite sport is football and he has even captained his
	 	school team in 1992.

			George began his adventures in music when he was gifted with a guitar in his early school days. Now, 
		12 years later, he has discovered that he was gifted with many more musical talents that makes him a one man 
		band. However, his passion for the Guitar has earned him the credit of being one of Bangalore's finest feel 
		guitarists. He is popularly known for his solo's on the Lead Guitar and is probably the only Guitarist in 
		Bangalore to have been awarded the 'Best Lead Guitarist'  seven times all across the Country. He is often 
		compared with is favourite Guitarists Joe Satrani and Van Halen, as he performs their music, blending in a 
		touch of his own Style.

		    	With no formal training in music, he plays the Piano and Drums too by ear. This helps him to keep the 
		spirit of his band 'Mixed Fruit Jam' crusing through its sixth year of jamming. His unforgettable experiences
		with his Band include being placed 2nd in the Country at Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma and performing at the 
		Chinnaswamy Stadium before 45,000 cricket fans. 

		   	George has been composing music since the age of 12, and some of these songs are featured on his 
		bands first Album 'Out of the Dark'. His Music has drwn inspiration from his favourite stars Bon Jovi, 
		Aerosmith and Shania Twain. Although a Software Developer by Profession, he has always liked to be known as 						
		"A Performer" and indeed he has proven to be one in all that he does.
