Wyandotte Woodcarvers was formed in March 2001. We joined Michigan Woodcarvers Association in July 2001. We are a small club with a current membership of 12 people. We are open to members who are at least 14 years old. We currently have two members who are in their teens. New members are always welcome.
Generally our members work on individual carving projects at our meetings, however we do sometimes do uniform projects which helps to share carving experiences among our members.
Currently we are designing a club patch that we hope to have completed next year.
We do not hold our own show, but some of our members compete in other MWCA member shows.
Our club participates in the annual Wyandotte Heritage days by displaying various carvings completed by our members as well as giving carving demonstrations.
