Our purpose is to teach the non carver and improve the skills of the carver (Or in one word, Educate). Always an opening in our beginners classes. take your pick, the club was originally formed to have a place where the non carver could come and learn, and the carver could improve his/her skills.
Our members conduct short workshops on different skills as a several meeting program, one nighters, or quickies, open to all club members, most times without charge. We frequently have outside carvers come in and teach a class or a skill. I guess educate is a good word, or carving skills improvement
