Please brush your hair with it as you usually do. However, there is one taboo for boxwood combs. Please don't dip the combs/brushes into water!! We don't recommend you to comb your wet hair after shampooing. By the contact with water, boxwood loses its luster. In addition, it may cause the material to defigure sometimes. Not only does combing your wet hair damage the combs, it also damages your hair. Wet hair is very delicate and vulnarable. Because boxwood dislikes water, please don't wash your boxwood combs with water. The care instruction for our combs/brushes are listed below. Here is an additional tip for great usage. Comb your hair with your boxwood brush/combs BEFORE shampooing. Yes. Before... Not after. Why before? Actually, this brushing before shampooing is very important in growing beautiful hair. By brushing, the blood circulation gets better, and you can make the dirt on your scalp easier to be removed by shampoo. This gentle scalp massage before helps the growth of silky hair and it prevents split ends. | Get rid of the dirt between the teeth with a DRY old toothbrush or froth. This procedure is very important. Take your time for this cleaning process. After the cleaning between the teeth, please apply a lot of Camellia oil on the comb. Please apply it not only on one side but also both sides of each tooth. Spread the oil all over the comb using a soft cloth or cotton. With a lot of Camellia oil applied, please let the comb sleep for a half to one day avoiding direct sunlight. The comb absorbs the oil, and the oiliness at the surface disappears. After that, please wipe any remaining oil on the surface off well. When you polish the comb well, you will love the smooth texture and the beautiful color of the comb. Care completed! Please do this care at least once a month. when you care for your comb often, it becomes a very beautiful amber color. This comb shown in the picture has been used for 3 years. It's beautiful, isn't it? |
