In six days God re created the earth from the ashes of its once great past. You see, before Earth became what it was today, there was a culture, a civilization that ruled the galaxy. These were the angels. Creatures so powerful and so fierce that no other culture dared oppose them. Other races cowered in fear before their mighty swords and spears. They feared almost none. The only thing greater, the only thing that they might have feared was the one that created even them. God himself. The entity responsible for the creation of all things, good and bad, just and in-just. The greatest power in the heavens, the God of the universe was the only factor that stood between the angels and total celestial domination. There was a tribulation, a war for the cosmos. Sides were drawn and worlds were destroyed and families torn asunder. The greatest struggle in the universe, one so enormous that there is none left to tell the story. Only fading memories of a greater time and a better place. Is this the last remaining record of this time? That I leave you to decide for yourselves.
Chapter 1
God is great and God is good. This is the motto of the Archangels. There were others, but this one stuck. It seemed that it fit God perfectly. God is omnipotent, and all-knowing. He sees all and knows all, past present and future. That is why he formed that Army of God, Angelus Ex Deus. He knew that there would be a war, and while he could have prevented it, or just dodged it entirely, he let it happen. It must be shown that he is all powerful, and that his warriors are nothing short of perfection. There can be no doubt and no second thoughts, he is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Beneath him there were many, but four stood out. Gabriel, Michael, Lucifer and Homus. These were his four greatest generals, and his four most trusted comrades, the ones given the honor of commanding the four divisions.
Gabriel commanded the messengers. They were responsible for battle reports and sending orders between units and to separate camps. The angels of this group were the fastest and often the ones in need of the most, for they were in constant danger of capture and torture. To this division the special powers of enhanced speed and memory of planetary maps.
Michael controlled the aerial troops. He led them first into battle and
Lucifer-the prisons, and Homus the ground based troops.
