Nintendo and the DS

So, Nintendo has devised yet another way to get kids to buy more things so that they can get the full use out of any given product. The Nintendo DS is a portable monster capable of two screens and "semiconductor memory of up to 1 Gigabit" according to Nintendo. "Why make another portable system when you already have the Gameboy Advance SP," you ask? Good question. Here is my answer: Because Sony is coming out with the PSP and Nintendo doesn't want to be caught with their pants down and an outdated console in their hands. On the flip side they don't want to throw away the SP's userbase by scrapping it, so they claim that this isn't a replacement, merely an addition. That way they can still milk the SP, but also get the same users to buy and support the DS. Appearently Nintendo has never heard of market saturation. They should take a note from what happened in the 90s with the console boom, when anyone and there brother could put together a console and sell it for a rediculous price. First my prediction, and then my opinion. Prediction: Nintendo with hype this thing to hell and back, but it will still get beat out by the PSP.

Opinion: If it wasn't for the SNES, I would disown everything Nintendo.
