GAMES

I have recently lost my XBOX. It decided that it wanted some down time, and flashed red things at me whilst I was playing games. Thus, I am without anything "next-gen", EXCEPT "ol' trusty", my Dreamcast. So, I am playing that now.

GAMES I AM PLAYING NOW:

Ecco the dolphin: Defender of the Future
This is a pretty good game, albeit very slow. The main action so far has been hitting sharks with my bottle nose. Grand Theft Auto it ain't, but its pretty good, and the music rocks hardcore.

Street Fighter Alpha 3
Again, a good game, but the graphics are very low res, and I seem to have a scratch, so occasionally I get a "Load Error" message, which blows chunks, lemme tell you. Nothing like trying to whup Akuma and getting a load error.

King of the Fighters: Evolution
Mmmm mmm mmm, tasty. SNK at its best. 33 fighters. 100's of moves. And hot japanese babes wearing next to nothing. No one makes 2D fighters quite like SNK.

Chu Chu Rocket
Nope, I'm not gay. I am, however, a puzzle game freak. I love them, and Sonic Team's Chu Chu Rocket is as good as they come. I haven't even played the multiplayer yet, and I think this is the greatest game of it's ilk.

Jet Grind Radio
Ahh, pure Japanese goodness. Nothing like skating the steets of Japan listing to JPOP, while tagging walls with my own graphitti (did I even spell that right?), all the while getting chased by an elvis-wannabe-police-cheif. Pure Japanese goodness.

Virtual On
Mechs. Mechs. And more mechs. Nothing like trying to decypher a story out of a jumbled mess of warning screens. Well, I guess thats not the point of it, is it now?. The point is climbing into your Mech and kicking someones rear. Unfortunately, since this was an arcade game that utilized 2 sticks, and the DC controller only has 1, it makes the controls a bit more difficult than they should be. Other than that, flawless. 60fps without a drop in sight, and a fighting engine with as much depth as can be desired.

Vurtua Fighter 3tb
It's Virtua Fighter. What more needs to be said? Ok, ok. I'm just tired of writing.
