ABOUT THE EVENTS

Our events are mostly family oriented and open to all Mitsubishi 4x4 owners.  Non-Mitsubishi behicles are welcome as guests of attending Mitsubishi Owners.  Only one non-Mitsubishi guest vehicle per owner.

We always promote responsible wheeling and good fun.  We always pack out more than we pack in.  This means if we find trash on the trail, we make every effort to remove it.

The Mitsubishi Four Wheel Drive Club of N. America, it's officers, and its sponsors cannot be held liable for any personal injury, or damage your vehicle may sustain.

While each event is unique, challenging and fun, there is and inherent possibility of vehicle damage and / or personal injury.  Attendee's must accept responsibility for their actions.

AMENITIES
Most events are camp on the trail type events with no Motels neare by.  As required, we do camp at designated camp grounds, but generally try to avoid them due to a number of  reasons (crowds, fees, reservations, location, etc.)

GROCERY AND GAS RUNS
While we do make store/gas runs to obtain required supplies as needed, please come to events prepared with the appropriate supplies in advance.  If unsure, please contact the trail leader with questions.

WEATHER
As one would expect, weather varries greatly during events.  It's common to encounter clear beautiful days, snow storms, & high winds all on the same trip.  In addition to checking the weather forecast on the day/hour you leave, we recommend you bring a
radio that supports weather bands so you can get up to the minute local forecasts.

COMMUNICATIONS
Most event regulars bring CB radios.  The club channel is 1.  FSR (Family Service Radios) are also common, but may be cumbersome because the CB is the primary communication medium and .you'll need someone to relay messages to you.

TRAIL RUNS
We try to make event trail runs enjoyable, challenging and as scenic as possible.  We encourage all members to come on every run.  We make every attempt to make each run challenging yet safe to both you and your vehicle.

TRAIL RUN START TIMES
Most  trail runs start between 7:00-9:00 am depending on the length of the run. We ask all attendee's to please be ready at the appointed times.  Starting late for a trail run means that you hurry everyone else throughout the day. Please check your event updates as they will list the times the runs start each day.

PARENTS
While our events are familiy oriented, we do ask that you always maintain control of your children.  Moving Vehicles, steep ascents/descents, and steep drop-offs may all be potentially dangerous.  The club cannot be held liable to any injuries sustained.
