Ceiling Fan Man II does not yet even have a storyline. I've decided to build most of the game's engine first, and then apply it to a story. This avoids having an extremely boring beginning like in Captain Noodles: The Best Video Game Ever (Yes, I said it, the creator thinks his own game is boring at the beginning). So far the engine is coming out smoothly. In addition to just a simple 1 weapon throughout the game like before, there's a selection of weapons and armour, and you are able to carry both a melee weapon and a gun. Instead of playing room-by-room bigger environments will be loaded at once to increase both difficulty of figuring stuff out (Not actual playing difficulty), and enjoyability. If things go as planned gameplay will be somewhat non-linear. You'll start out in Noodle City, and there will be at least one other city, where you can drive around, walk around, shop for equipment at the local stores, and more, and then you can advance to the next place whenever you want, and hopefully some things won't have to be done in order. There really isn't enough to start a full page on this site with but more will come with time. There are no screenshots yet. |
