The last couple of years I have been back in school pursuing a second degree.  I've now graduated from the
BSN (Nursing) program at FGCU.  I have accepted a job in OB at a local hospital and will start July 2006 (if I pass boards!). Someday I hope to enter a CNM-MSN program to become a certified nurse-midwife.
     I co-founded a breastfeeding
information and support group in my area in 2001. I sat the board exam for IBCLC (lactation consultant) in July 2005 & am officially an IBCLC now!

One of Ted's long-standing interest is motorcycles.  After the 2003 accident, Ted decided to sell his bike and pursue other hobbies for a while.  So believe it or not, the only bike we have right now is the Honda Benly, a $200 moped that we bought from a neighbor, and little dirtbikes for the boys.  The motorcycle page has pictures of some of the bikes that have come and gone at our house.

Ted has taken up playing guitar:

We still get out on our boat when we have the chance. We have a  SeaRay Sundancer 268.

tedanna5_00.jpg (69448 bytes)  Because hate is legislated...written into the primer and the testament, shot into our blood and brain like vaccine or vitamins Because our day is of time, of hours - and the clock-hand turns
closes the circle upon us:  and black timeless night sucks us in
like quicksand, receives us totally -
without a raincheck or a parachute,

a key to heaven or the last long look

I need love more than ever now...I need your love,
I need love more than hope or money, wisdom or a drink

Because slow negative death withers the world -
and only yes can turn the tide
Because love has your face and hands and body...
and your hands are tender
and your mouth is sweet -
and God has made no other eyes like yours.
