Fall Leaf Exchange Internet Project

Pretty Leaves

Pretty leaves are falling down,
Green,  Yellow, Orange, and brown.

Here comes one colored red.....
Oops....it landed on my head
Red leaf, red leaf,
Oh, what fun.
Red leaf, red leaf,
I found one.

Orange leaf, orange leaf,
I see you.
Orange leaf, orange leaf,
I found two.

Yellow leaf, yellow leaf,
Can you see?
Yellow leaf, yellow leaf,
Now I've three.

Green leaf, green leaf,
Just one more.
Green leaf, green leaf,
Now I've four!

Red, Yellow, Orange
Green and Brown
I found five leaves
on the ground!

This poem is the brain child of Kerry in B.C. Canada.

This year our class will participate in the Fall Leaf Exchange Internet Project. We will gather fall leaves and laminate them. Then we will send them out to different places in the United States. These places will also send us their fall leaves. Once our leaves change colors, we will begin the project.

We will exchange leaves with:
