| From: Jodi Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2001 To: Mitch Subject: Sam and Zoe Report Here is the Sam and Zoe Report for Tuesday, March 20, 2001. Sam and Zoe woke up in extraordinarily good natured and playful moods. Not so for Mommy who was awoken from a deep sleep by Zoe at 2:45 a.m. and had trouble going back to sleep. Still, she was charmed by her smiling, laughing babies. Sam and Zoe joined other twins and triplets at the toddler playdate at H. Playground. They had a lot of fun going down the slide. Sam would climb up, turn around and slide down in record time. They also enjoyed the helicopter. Most impressively, neither one wandered off to another section of the playground even once. While waiting for Telva, Sam and Zoe picked flowers for Mommy in the backyard. Zoe showed off her fine taste by systematically choosing the nicest and largest flowers to present to Mommy. Sam was less discerning, picking whatever he could get his hands on - leaves, twigs, dirt, and an occasional flower. Sam and Zoe have officially given up their bottles as of this morning. They drank all of their milk from sippy sups with no discernible decline in quantity consumed. As an added bonus, when the cups are turned upside down, nothing escapes. Sam and Zoe have become quite proficient tooth brushers. They appear to love their toothbrushes and know exactly what to do with them. Having exhibited a strong preference for each other's brush, Sam has been reassigned the pink one and Zoe the blue one. The last item in today's report come from a less reliable source so may not be true. According to Grandma Carole, Sam allegedly handed his sippy cup directly to Zoe to share its contents with her.
