| As of September 7th: So...what have I been doing this summer? Short answer: absolutely nothing of import. Longer answer: THE SUMMER IS OVER Long answer: Read the archived crap. Yes, well, unless you email me asking me to post it on here, I will probably never update this website w/the concert info. Oh well. So email me if you care!!! Okay, well, school started. Yay. Fun. My classes aren't bad, and there are, so far, no evil teachers. Well, John Mayer's CD comes out on Tuesday, but I listened to all of it on Ali's computer, since she has cable internet or whatever, and it's on MTV.com. Very good, although it's hard to listen to it while typing/reading, and hard to type/read while listening to it. Yeah, well, Rickie should have waken up by now (we are babysitting him, Emma and I), and I have abandoned Emma for the Internet for, hmm, 1 hour, 2 minutes, according to AIM. Poor her, I am such charming company. Yeah right. Well yeah nothing exciting has happened. I am grounded/got my wings clipped/I'm surrounded by/all this pavement/guess I'll circle/while I'm waiting/for my future to arrive (?) Some day I'll fly...Some day, I'll soar......... Cause I'm bigger than my body gives me credit for. ~John Mayer...Yes it is stuck in my head. Again. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As of August 23rd: Will expand info later. 3 Counting Crows/John Mayer concerts...will explain how I am NOT a groupie...it's all my mom's fault. Very very fun. John Mayer's new song is stuck in my head constantly, though...but I love it. Missed the blackout, were in Pittsburgh for concert number three. Registered, went to a poster party by decree of Ali's mom. Was not too bad, our posters kicked butt...yes Emma is talented at painting guitars. And the rest of us are geniuses. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As of July 26th: Now I'm in Lansing, have been since Monday (it's Saturday-home tonight/tomorrow!) except for leaving Wednesday night and not returning until Thursday afternoon. Not much of a respite from torture at little hands.. (Does that word work?) Well, it's not really torture. My friends have done tons of stuff w/out, won't tell me stuff, and are never online, even when they said they'd be. Playing w/five-year-olds gets boring fast. This is my cousin's house, and my aunt and uncle and two more cousin's w/their two children each are here and my brother and mother. Grandparents left yesterday. Good news is, I tuned/played my harp for my grandmother. Must play it again tonight, especially since my cousin's husand has been going on about me playing it for him and is now calling me Gaelic Girl. Snooglyfeppums bip! Now what I'm doing is adding boring crap like this to my website, as you can see. Longer answer: a good bit. Long answer: Did basically nothing for a week, Emma and I went to Maine, and besides reading a whole yoga book and biking, I have done basically nothing still. But we have gone on long bike rides. And I've put poetry on www.fictionpress.net that has gotten good reviews...so I have been tres excitee. Yeah, this is about all I have to show for the summer. Have fun....what a lame website this is. |
