The Séance

When I look out into the sunset in the clouds, I remember last summer. That one night where we could of lost it all. I remember the way you had your make-up and that your hair was down. It was just us two, and I knew that you've missed him. It was the first year that he was gone, and I wanted to make you feel your best. We went to grave yard to say hello. With our flashlights, you found his headstone and cried. I looked at you and told you that I had an idea. Putting my flashlight down, I opened my bag and got a book. You took it andwere amazed. I opened it and found the page I needed. You knew what I was going to do next, a séance. "No.. you can't do a séance, something bad will happen." you said to me. "Look, do you want him back!? Do you want to see his face again?" You didn't answer, but I knew you wanted everything I said. We sat there for one last moment before all Hell broke loose. You then took out the lighter I stole and a fire was born. Before I started, you said one last thing to me.. "Thank you for doing this for me.. I just miss him and want him back from the dead." I looked at you and then started. With the words I said, the wind started to pick up. I stopped. "Go on.. it's just the wind. Come on, I want to see him damnit!" But I couldn't go on, because I knew I said the last word wrong. With all that, the wind went right into the fire and a blue light appeared. There he was.. being reborn again. I couldn't believe that the séance was still working, but then my luck turned around. The wind stopped and the blue fire died. We went to get our flashlights, but he had them. He looked at us with his red eyes as you said to me, "His eyes are red... why are they!? That's not him then!" He then said, "Oh, but it is me my dear.. I've come back.. and I'm taking you both with me." He then threw the flashlights at me to knock me out. As I fell, he ran and got her. With the force of lust, he did it. When he was done with his evil sin, he blew where the fire was and a green spark came. When I opened up my eyes, you were gone. He was gone. I looked for you, but then saw an imprint of his face laughing in the ashes of the fire. But what got to me was that before he stole the life of her, he told me that the both of we were going with him.. but took her and not me. Years have passed as every summer I visit you, and all these years I've felt guilty. Guilty of lying, because I didn't say the last word wrong in the séance, I skiped it because I don't believe in it. You always told me that love was all that a person needed, and I never got love, because my mind told me not to believe. He told me not to believe...
