CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of your new companion! I have made sure that you are purchasing a happy, healthy and sound dog or puppy. I encourage a vet visit within 3 days of purchase.

In the future your dog or puppy will need:

* Rabies shots at 1 or 3 year intervals

* Vaccinations as directed by vet

* Heartworm test in spring and prevention throughout the year

Attached to this contract is a copy of the breed standard, pedigree and health and vaccination record. This puppy or dog may be return for full refund, however after 48 hours the purchaser assumes all responsibilities for the health and temperament of the puppy or dog. A replacement puppy will be offered if Veterinarian proof is supplied of a genetic condition that renders the puppy or dog unsuitable for the intended purchase. Any legal fees incurred by the Breeder/Seller resulting from litigation due to violations of this contract shall be the responsibility of the purchaser.

IF THIS CONTRACT IS VIOLATED OR IS NOT COMPLETED BY THE PURCHASER, THE BREEDER/SELLER HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE IMMEDIATE POSSESSION, OF PUPPY OR DOG AND ALL REGISTRATION MATERIALS (PAPERS).

AKC registration materials will not be supplied if puppy or dog is not paid in full. Or if pet, a puppy or dog is not spayed or neutered.

This dog or puppy may not exhibit any major faults but it is being purchased as a pet and will not be entered into Confirmation events. This puppy or dog may be entered into performance events.

SHOWABLE*- A showable puppy or dog is one who is genetically sound and free of disqualifying faults, that I feel is capable of competing in Confirmation events. This does not guarantee a championship however, as conditioning and training are also factors.

TERMS OF SALE

1. Puppyor dog will begiven its registered name prior to sale.

2. If not done by breeder prior to sale, puppy or dog must be permanently identified in the form of tattoo or microchip by 1 0 months of age in puppy. Dogs must be identified within 3 months of purchase. If tattoo is done it must be registered with Tattoo A Pet.

3. Purchaser agrees to enroll in puppy kindergarten or obedience classes.

4. In the case of Show puppies or dogs, Misty Morning Shelties (Breeder/Seller) keeps breeding rights or stud rights.

5. If not done by breeder prior to sale, pet puppies must be spayed or neutered by 4 months of age. Adults purchased must be spayed or neutered within the first 3 months of purchase.

6. Breeder/Seller must be kept informed of address changes and telephone number,

7. SHOULD PURCHASER DECIDE AT ANY TIME DURING PUPPY OR DOGS LIFE THAT S/HE CAN NOT KEEP, OR DOES NOT WANT THIS PUPPY OR DOG, THE PUPPY OR DOG MUST BE RETURNED TO BREEDER. IT WILL BE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THE SHIPPING COSTS AND REGISTRATION MATERIALS (PAPERS) MUST BE SHIPPED WITH THE PUPPY OR DOG.

8. IF AT ANY TIME BREEDER/SELLER BECOMES INFORMED OF MISTREATMENT OR ABUSE OF THIS PUPPY OR DOG, BREEDER/SELLER RETAINS THE RIGHT TO TAKE IMMEDIATE POSSESSION OF THE PUPPY OR DOG AND ALL THE REGISTRATION MATERIALS (PAPERS).

SHOW PUPPY/DOG GUARANTEES

1.� I guarantee that this puppy or dog will be between 13 to 16 inches in height at the withers.

2.� That this puppy or dog will pass Penn-Hip or OFA and CERF testing by 2 years of age.

3.� This puppy or dog is guaranteed against congenital defects for a period of 5 years.

4.� I guarantee that the puppy or dog is fully able to be bred and produce puppies.

5.� To be healthy and of sound temperament for the first 48 hours after the date of sale. It is recommend that the Buyer have the dog examined by a reputable veterinarian during this time period.

6. To be sound and free of show disqualifying faults until 1 year of age, except those due to injury, illness�or neglect after the date of sale.

If the above guarantee(s) are not met, Breeder agrees to refund 1/2 of the purchase price of this puppy or dog being ____________ - towards the purchase of another puppy or dog. Buyer may retain puppy/dog with a spay/neuter contract. If Buyer chooses to not retain puppy or dog it will be returned to Breeder.

BUYER AGREES

1.No puppies produced by this dog or bitch will be sold to pet shops or other wholesale outlets or dealers.

2. Buyer will show this dog/bitch to at least 3 points, if it remains show quality.

3. If dog/bitch is used for breeding, it will be considered show quality and the full purchase price will be��� �����������  due.
