Nina Jugovic was an Ahroun Black Fury originally from the forest of the Balkans in what was then still Yugoslavia. Named Culls-the-Wyrm for her enthusiasm at fighting the wyrm wherever it would breed, she grew to Fostern rank in her sept. By this time, Yugoslavia would break up and one of the most stable of the republics was Slovenia, which rose from a small state to a country that could stand its own. With that and a new philosophy of fighting the wyrm in its home, the cities and developing lands, Culls the Wyrm traveled to Slovenia. There she adopted a male kin to be her concubine if nothing more, using him only to satisfy her womanly needs but...one of those times she wasn't careful and became pregnant. The tests showed that she was pregnant of three kids and the elders advised her to have their fates devinated and her to take a rest from the battlefields for the 9 months of the pregancy. Culls the Wyrm refused and continued her fight. Her stubborness caused the death of two of her children and the only one that survived would be born in Ljubljana, Slovenia under the crescent moon. Nevertheless... Culls was too obsessed with her war with the wyrm to have the young Cecilia registered under Slovenian law or even have her fate calculated by her tribe. Thus Culls always thought of Cecilia as her kin and thus after two weeks, she left with her, not leaving her with her kinfolk father towards Budapest to fight the wyrm in developing Hungary.

Cecilia's mother shaped her life since early on but not my her teachings or presence but the lack of it. As Culls continued to fight her war with a pack of GW and others in Budapest, Cecilia was left alone to be nurtured by a kinfolk woman, who was also a declared lesbian and thus the lack of a fatherly figure also influence Cecilia's growth. She grew among women but none of those her mother. The women and sometimes her mother, taught her of mother Gaia and the devil serpent the Wyrm in elaborate tales Cecilia listened to carefully and learnt of the spirits that lived in the world. Thus, since an early age she gained curiosity for what would be her auspice role and the tales of the garou. At school, Cecilia wasn't popular but she also wasn't shunned which kept Culls thinking she was just a kinfolk. With that, Culls kept on her fight and Cecilia grew wary of her loneliness. At the age of 8, Cecilia spoke back to her mother who promptly physically punished her and Cecilia grew angry even after Culls apologized and promised to be with her more.

This anger would change the path of Cecilia's life. Why? Because the next time her mother spoke of the Black Furies, the garou and their fight for the wyld and against the Wyrm, Cecila took a big decision in her life. She would study that which her mother hated to make her grieve for being absent and for having hit her. And thus...at such an early age she started to buy books on the occult from the far fetched to more or less accurate human recounts and adopting the dark gothic culture of the humans. Her bright dresses turned to long black tshirts and jeans or skirts. Her mother reprimanded her change but she did not change. Life went like that until she became 12 and had her first menstruation...without signs of change. Culls gave up practically on hopes of her daughter becoming a fury and began to leave her alone once more as Cecilia dug deeper into the dark occult world, interpreting the wyrm and sometimes calling to it in her dark magic attempts. At school...the children no longer stood at her side but feared her and parted from her. The kids, specially those of the popular class mocked her and made two years complete hell for her and it continued as she returned home to a mother that constantly wasn't home or when she was, mocked her and belittled her for not being what she thought was a worthy kin.

When Cecilia was 16, her young smile had completely dissapeared and a smirk (sometimes evil looking) always shone on her face that at that age wore black lipstick and make up, and although her body had grown decently attractive she hid it under her lose clothing. Nevertheless, the mocking of the high school football team had grown to torturing screams that invaded her mind and kept her from the study of the occult. One day, they followed her home, calling her names until one pushed her, she fell and called her a "bitch". Even if she had despised her mother, such an insult sparked her innermost rage, even her mother's lack of presence had sparked and she suffered her first change, slaughtering the group of kids and yet she did not touch the girl (girlfriend of the quarterback) in her frenzy. When the kin Culls had put to watch her came...she slaughtered them to...purposefully althought that fact would always be hidden.

Cecilia's life did not become easier but yet more interesting. Cecilia passed a year from mentor to mentor as they fought to find her auspice, since the carelesness of her mother had given them the wrong date of birth. Finally...Cecilia was made to speak before an elder to who she told of her past in spirit knowledge and her fascination. Thus she was taught the ways of the Theurge and she fell in love with her new life. So much, she forgot the hatred to her mother who also was never again so hostile to her. Cecilia proved a fast learner in the ways and her physical trials proved an easy task to her enthusiasm. Yet at nights, she still prayed to the dark gods of her occult past and the banes started to take notice. After two years of training and routine...Cecilia was ready to present herself before garou culture. But with the two years of Cecilia's secret worship and growing knowledge of what really was the wyrm and its aspects, the banes had been known to come near the caern more often.

Her Rite of Passage would be the beginning of her dark past and secrets she keeps to this day. As she sought to banish the banes she had brought in secret, another twist in her life was to take place. As she was burtally attacked, and defended herself as she could, one of the banes noticed the necklace she wore deep under her clothing that she used in her prayers... the banes stopped short of killing her and retreated, simulating defeat, respecting (oddly) her previous chiminage to them. Cecilia returned in blood to the caern and was welcomed with open arms and as a Cliath Theurge. Cecilia never told them how she banished them.

With this she learnt her gifts but once again her past cuaght up on her as the spirits refused to teach her Sense Wyrm as her tribal gift and as her mother scolded her over again, Cecilia's bitterness returned, assasinating one of her mother's lovers. The next morning she would sneak out early to keep from laughing at her mother's grief and wandered Budapest to find a fire spirit to summon and try her rites and gifts of a Theurge, the true thing she loved. The banes that had watched her followed her unnoticed by her as she summoned a fire spirit with her greatest effort. These banes corrupted the small fire elemental, twisting to the corruption and to teach her Master of Fire she required a very strange chiminage. Cecilia was to sacrifice three humans to the fires that she would dominate. Even if the love Gaia's children talks had filled her mind in the last years, her instincts were tied to closely to the dark secrets she had learn and never saw a wrong in such chiminage. Cecilia murdered three men that night...feeling no remorse what so ever, after all, she never had needed men and burnt their bodies to the corrupted spirit who taught her the gift. The banes cackled and followed her and her taint back to the caern.

Cecilia once again kept quiet as the spirits refused to teach her Breath of the wyld because of her taint. Her mother grew so furious she dedicated a whole month, laboring her daughter hard until she learned the gift from her. Cecilia meanwhile fed the banes her anger and her prayers which somehow always soothed her pain. Cecilia was ready to be the theurge to the sept by now and was given the name Tends-to-Banes for her ability to keep banes away, which in truth was the banes retreating to keep her development going and feed from her.

Cecilia took her duty seriously at first, trying to uphold her fight against the wyrm and tended to minor banes that seeked her chiminage. The stronger banes weren't stupid and realized what they could lose. As some reminded her of her past in her dreams, others spoke to her and told her tips and secrets of the occult umbra and lore of the wyrm. In exchange, she kept their presence secret and shunned them when elder theurges came to watch her work. The banes obviously won protection, someone who would secretly feed them her fears, anger and an ocassional chiminage, and a possible recruit.

Cecilia kept this friendship up until her last days in Hungary and is the dark secret she keeps. Not only having helped banes and hidden the truth but the way she learnt to be the Master of Fire.
