Ahhhh, the ocean!
One of the few places on earth that really gets you away from the world. You relax on the beach as the sun beats down onto your back. The warm feel of the sand along with that salty sweet smell is rather refreshing. You close your eyes, beginning to doze off in the perfectness of your calm surroundings.
Suddenly, water hits you in the face, causing you to sputter and cough a little. You open your eyes to see a beautiful peophin staring at you from the waters. She is a periwinkle purple, with a long pansy pink mane, covered in white high-lights. Coming out of her forehead is a pair of antennas, the little balled ends the same deep sea blue as her gentle eyes. Her hooves are a bright sea foam white, and her tail fin is hooked with three golden earrings, plus a golden bracelet just where the tail connects to the fin. Strangly enough, she had a pair of wings, but not just any kind of wings...these were faerie wings! But even stranger, the top part of the butterfly-like wings was skinned like that of a dragon's, and in the little seaps of the skin, small pink feathers peeped out and onto the sea blue wings. The little seahorse charm over her neck is made of pure wood, hanging on a thin black thread.
She smiles brightly at you, winking one of her deep sea blue eyes.

"Hiya!" She says, nodding her head greetingly. "Welcome to the beach! M'name's Anastelli."
A few Seahorses stick their heads out of the water, each symbolizing a different faerie element.

"Oh, and these are the magic seahorses of Rainbow Falls, the place where the rainbow touches ocean waters. Here, allow me to tell you about them...and me."

Chapter One
Beginning Tale

On the day of my brith, my mother knew I was no ordinary peophin, even though I looked of one. I was a simple blue with devilish red hair and brimming emerald green eyes. My hooves were black, as all others, and I was nothing more than an ordinary little filly. But to my mother, I was something special. Not just because I was her young one, but because she knew there was something big happening in my life, even though my days and appearance seemed perfectly normal. She would always tell me stories about mystical creatures at night, much like the legend of Kwayheairians, Sirens, and the magical seahorses of Seahorse Fountain. They were legended to bring good fortune to whomever was special enough to earn their trust.

Unfortunately for me, my brother, Kreimono hated me. He thought mother always treated me completely different and with more love than what he ever got, and that was because his mother was a shark. My brother and I were born of same fathers, but different mothers, and it was always hard to get along with him. While he was into abnormal peophin boy things, like hunting down helpless fish or maybe a seagul, I was an ordinary girl who cared for these creatures he hunted...probably why we never got along. Even though I hated fighting with my brother, he seemed to care nothing of me or anything I enjoyed.

But what I didn't know was my brother was going to be the main cause of a large change, a change that would turn my world completely upside down. It all began when my father warned Krei and I not to venture to the surface one night...

Chapter Two
The Journey Begins

"Kreimono, we shouldn't be doing this!"

I swam behind my brother, calling out softly to him as he made his way through the murky night waters. It was his idea to sneak up to the surface waters to see why father didn't want us up there. He turned on me and gave me a fierce glare with his deep black shark eyes.

"Listen, Ana-telly," he said in a sharp whisper, using my 'tattle-tale' nickname. "Aren't you wondering why dad didn't want us on the surface? We go up there every night."

"Yes, I am," I admitted reluctently. "But father said-"

"You've always been the brat of the family!"

"I am not a brat!" I whined back, scraping my hooves together nervously. "But daddy said we shouldn't go up there! It could be dangerous!"

"Either that or it's cool," Krei said, rolling his eyes and swimming on towards the moonlit surface. "Are you coming...or are you just going to stay there in the dark waters?"

"Oooo, fine!" I cried, scared by the thought of being alone in the darkness. "I'm coming!"

I quickly swam to his side, closing my eyes in fear as our heads left the water. I opened an eye to see nothing but darkened clouds, a moonless sky, and the normal world around me. Kreimono looked disappointed.

"There's nothing here!" He spat angerly. "Not even a fisherman's boat!"

Kreimono
Kreimono is my rather darkened brother. He never looks on the bright side of life, unless it's sarcasm. Sometimes I worry if he'll ever change, but then it hits me that not everyone is happy and bright. Because if we were...who knows? The world might just be an over happy, boring place. So thanks for being different, Krei. ^-^

Rules for my Seahorses

1. Do not change their appearance
2. The Seahorses like their link home, don't play with it
3. My Seahorses are not to be used for anything but friendship!
4. No beauty contest, stealing, or making them for friends. (Refer to above)
5.Don't worry, you get to name yours. The names below are samples.
6. Take care of them, and have fun.

These mystical seahorses come from the beautiful Seahorse Fountain, located inside a sea cave. Each symbolizes a different faerie element, and they only appear to those who they believe need their company and compainionship.
Sometimes special seahorses appear from the fountain when changes in the weather occour, causing the fountain's waters to mix into a new type of Seahorse...unfortunately, these are rare, and hard to get a hold of.

Chosen Seahorses
Sometimes, if the fountain senses a special soul is present, it will create a Seahorse that is bonded to it's creator, made only for that creature and none other. These are very rare, however.

And she leaps into the water, the few Seahorses diving behind her. That is the last thing you see of the creature. But, is she right? Will you return to her seashore? Only time will tell...
