Let's answer the first question straight away: No, my real name is not Miranda, and no, I'm not going to tell you what it is! Miranda 2001 started as just a pseudonym to appear on Mailbox, then later on the internet. But now I feel more like a 'Miranda' than I do my 'real' name. This site is a collaboration of all the different bits of my mixed up world. Art is my career, writing is my hobby. Pokemon and Bugs are 2 of the many TV obsessions I've had over the years and many others can be found on the Nostalgia list. |

In reality, I'm a 20 year old graphic designer. My taste in music is very 80's orientated (Hazel O'Connor, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, The Cure, Prefab Sprout etc) which immediately casts me aside from many people who are well and truly into every aspect of the modern (loud) clubbing age which I'm afraid just ain't me. I'd rather sit at home and corrupt the innocence of kids shows in my writing, or create bits of art, or whatever I feel like at the time. I'll never be a party girl. That having been said, I'm more out-going in other ways. I'm a big fan of hair dye and have tried every colour available, including a blue-and-purple combo, and I love huge earrings which probably is influenced by my love of everything 80's. |

I held 2 tours of Bugs locations, I attended the first Pokemon movie dressed as Misty and I own a parrot, who is very noisy but fun to have around.The worst day of my life was going to a nightclub. I have two best days of my life - the first came when Hello, Newman told me he loved me. The second came on 28th October 2000. I love corrupting the innocence of kids shows with bizarre theories and will scream if anyone dare mention apples. |
