| During the Summer months, is the only safe time to climb to it's summit. The tracks are clear, and the final ascent is easily mounted without the use of expert mountaineering equipment. Notice also that there is a trail of mist about, even in the summer. New Zealand is quite unique for this mist covering, also atop the entire length of the country. That is why it is called Aotearoa, Land of the long white cloud.Below is how it looks from the summit! I think it's awesome up there. |
