| This is one of our favorites,because you can play it at any gait.They are actually two separate kinds of races. The hare is like the normal "Race"kind of race,you know first one across the finish line wins.One rule though, you cannot break the gait that you choosejbefore you start. You can do it with any gait but canter*lope* is not recomended cause it causes stampedes. The tortoise race is exactly the same except the last one across the finish line is the winner. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In this game you think up a pattern (say walk down ring turn left make big circle exit ring) and then try to complete the pattern without using the reins.Lots of fun and you can do it alone.It's generally best to not make your plan to complex . | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Another fun thing to do with your horse is to get together a bag of towels sheets hats,scarves and stuff and dress up your horse(s) .Don't forget to take pictures! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
