System Analyst /Technical Writer (Senior Project)

July 2001 – February 2002

Created an online auction forum promoting B2B Commerce of Used Industrial Machines. A web based application was created with SQL Server at the back-end to provide the data support and ASP pages at the front-end to provide the functionality of a dynamic client interface. Developed a 3-Tier web-based application — Client Server that included web-browser, handheld devices and cellular phones, Application server and a Database server. The project provided real-world experience by integrating systems analysis, programming, and testing, debugging, documentation and user interface techniques. Project received the People’s Choice Award and Presidents Award for Senior Project

  • Performed different stages of System development life cycle (analysis, proposal, design and documentation). Analyzed and prepared all business requirements and technical specifications documentations including presentation of detailed proposals and development team.

  • Ensured that the project resulted in a client focused, supportable and scaleable solution.  Developed a complex database structure with a user-friendly interface that included triggers and referential integrity constraints to improve the accuracy of input.

  • Created DFDs, ERDs using Visio 2000 and prepared weekly project reports using Microsoft Project.
