An Angel’s Hell

(This entry is copywrited by usagi on 11-26-01 @ 2:44am EST)

Looking up at the nightly sky
I unfold my wings and pretend to fly
Chains continue to keep me bound to this place
Wishing for the winds to blow between
My feathers and against my face
Instead I sit here in my high dark tower
Tied to a wall trapped with no special power
To break my links to set myself free
To live my life how I want it to be
How did I ever end up in this mess?
Years of suppressing how I felt I guess
You see these are chains I created on my own
Then always told me you will reap what you sow
But I never did really listen
So now from my tower window I can only watch the stars glisten
Trapped inside my own personal hell
Many have tried to rescue me
But all have failed so miserably
I and only myself can break this curse
I must rid my self of all my guilt and sorrow first
At one point I hope to break free
There’s a wonderful world I so desperately want to see
Until then I will here remain
Chained to my tower wall
And further and further into this sadness
I will continue to fall
