Well, as all us Crue fans already know, Nikki & his
wife Donna have split. Here in a french magazine, Donna talks about raising Frankie alone. Now
Nikki is claiming that he & Donna are just spending time apart. But I tell you, reading this
interview, reading the way Nikki is phrasing everything, and talking with other fans, this
WebMistress says they are done. But I'll let you read it for yourself, and tell me what you think.
- Before the "Donna D'Errico" title, there's a small line who says :
"After her daughter's birth, the heroine of "Baywatch" separates from her
husband".
- under the title "Donna D'Errico", in purple: "I'm not afraid to
raise my baby alone".
- under the purple title "3 years ago, she was leaving the tv series
"Baywatch". This time, it's from her husband she's separating. Although their
little Frankie Jean was born on January 2nd! Back to an eventful copybook
career."
Then, the interview begins.
-Tl Star (the name of the magazine): Hardly had you given birth to
your daughter, that you have decided to separate, Nikki and you. How do you
go through this?
* Donna D'Errico: This has happened at the wrong moment, I admit it,
Frankie Jean was hardly 2 weeks old. But by a mutual agreement, we've wanted
to live separatly for some time. We phone us every day. Nikki sees Frankie
Jean at least once a week, when he's got the time to do it. But he misses a
lot of things: her first smiles, all those baby gestures that are so
unique...But all the events of his life aren't controled.
- TS: Aren't you afraid to repeat what had already happened with your
8-year-old son Rhyan, who you have raised alone for a few years?
* DD: I've raised Rhyan alone until he was 3, then I've met Nikki. I
got through it well, I wasn't afraid. Today, I'm not afraid, too. I think I'm
a stong woman, and a good mother. It's certainly not the ideal situation to
raise your child, nor the familly view I had in my mind when I've decided to
have my daughter, but we have to adapt to the events. Having said this, Nikki
and I haven't talked about divorcing.
TS: Has your familly supported you during this period?
*DD: An awful lot. All the more because I'm very close to my mother
and sister. But all my familly lives in Georgia and, sometimes, I'd like not
to feel so distant from them.
TS: Her birth must have disrupted your day life?
DD: Since she was born, my hours of sleep are counted! And, in spite
of the memories I had of Rhyan, I had to plunge back into manuals to collect
some precise advices. But for my second child I was less worried. Frankie
Jean is an adorable little girl, she makes her old brother fall for her, who
only thinks about one thing: care of her.
TS: After a beginning of year so eventful, how do you see the future?
DD: I follow a strict diet, I'm doing sport, I've changed artistic
agent. So, I'm ready to return to my career. With Nikki, we've decided to
sell the big house in which we were living: I can't stay here alone, I'm too
far from Los Angeles. But, more than everything, I intend to raise my
children in the respect of the values, in which I'm attached to. And in
teaching them to stay themselves. It's for me one of the keys to happiness.
In the yellow window: "Did you know it? It's thanks to Pamela Anderson and
to Tommy Lee that she's met Nikki Sixx. The two musiciens belonged to the
band Mtley Cre."
In the pink window: "Baytwach" it's over. Donna D'Errico didn't worry
about the fate of "Baywatch" after having quit the tv series. "I've turned
the page. And I've lost touch with the actors. They weren't those who
congratulated me for my daughter's birth, but the viewers. I've received
cards from admirers and this has touched me very much."
In the big picture with Donna holding the baby: "Donna holds lovingly in her
arms her daughter Frankie Jean"
In the picture with Rhyan: "Rhyan, 8, likes to care of his little sister."
In the picture with Donna holding baby clothes: "Nothing isn't too beautiful
for her baby"
So there it is. Take it as you want.
