| Mars, the God of war. Also the name of one of the best dramatic shojo's out there. Kira is a quiet girl who kept to herself and didnt have any friends. Rei is a popular playboy known for his reckless behavior, and is the one person whom Kira doesnt want to befriend. When Rei meets Kira in the park and asks her for directions, Kira cant wait to leave. At school the next couple of days, Rei turns up late and his seat is next to Kira. Rei keeps trying to talk to her during class and Kira ignores him. Rei makes it so Kira can't ignore him and he asks Kira if he can keep the picture that was on the back of the map she drew for him. Kira offers to give him the painting when she's done, and Rei can't help but get excited! Later when Kira is after school in the Art room painting, her teacher comes in and starts trying to feel her up, and who comes to the rescue? Why Rei, of course! He scares the teacher out by picking up a razor blade. After that incedent, Rei promises to protect Kira. And as they get to know eachother, they learn about eachother's twisted pasts, and fall in love, despite the people trying to tear them apart from every angle. This story is extremely dramatic and capturing, you cant stop reading it! i give it a 10 out of 10. |
